The course is good, but it was raining when we were playing therefore the course was very muddy
Bad bunkers
I enjoy playing both courses, but there is a consistent problem with both... the bunkers are TERRIBLE!!! They have about 1/2 inch of sand and then hardpan underneath!! It's almost impossible to play a decent bunker shot with such a small amount of sand. ADD SAND TO THE BUNKERS!!!!
Glendoveer East
Course is in very good condition, no dry spots or plugged of balls, greens are well maintained and bunkers are raked throughout the day which is good because they should add more sand in them ideally. Staff is courteous and helpful.
Nice course and affordable price
Enjoyable day playing golf. Met some great people. Nice easy to access affordable course. I look forward to playing again.
Classic Portland Golf
Really enjoyed the course. Layout is fun. Short from white with drivable par 4s, reachable par 5s. Large old growth trees, strategic bunkers. Course was firm and nice condition overall. Prominent hill through the property you go up and down a few times.
Glendoveer grade D greens
Course was well kept. Beautiful stands of old pines. Even some wild life, not deer though, coyote. LOL
The disappointment for this course is the huge mistake many years ago when a novice greens keeper made his own grass mix. Oops. These two types of grass never grew together and never used the other out! So forever enjoy spotted greens that roll different speeds and effects the break too. A putt that goes in here was lucky if your crossed large spots. Other wise the course is a great deal for the cost compared to other more proud courses. A great place to practice irons and drives. Bunkers are also inconsistent unless fresh sand was just added, Enjoy your round and don't let those putts make you go insane. LOL.
The course was in very good shape⛳️🏌️👀
I was paired up with a GREAT guy made it easy to golf! I got a birdie and 2 pars😀 we are going to get together and shared phones!
Good value
The East course has a fun layout. The greens are pretty slow, but all in all, it's a great value.
