Challenge Course
Played the blues (4175/61.5/112) as my 2nd round of the day in very windy conditions, 50 degrees & partly cloudy. Very nice executive course, par 63 with 9 medium to short par 4's and 9 par 3's. Interesting layout, definitely one of the better executive courses I have ever played. There were mounds and little valleys that made things interesting, both around the fairways and greens. Many holes had elevation changes, that coupled with playing @ altitude and the strong swirling winds made club selection a sheer guess most of the round. The greens were quick & firm, very few ball marks and putted well. Both the fairways and rough were very lush. The sand traps were decent, but not as well maintained as the sister Ridge course that I played this A.M. The customer service in the pro shop was excellent. If you were in the area and wanted a fun little course, I would recommend this one.
Relaxing fun course to play with your spouse
Played the back tees as it is short. Played with our wives. They had fun and so did we. Pretty area and the deer are interesting to watch.
Loved the format of this course. Playing par 3 and par 4s alternating was great fun.
Very nice course. Quite challenging holes and playing only par 3 and 4s great practice for short game. Loved the hills and beauty of the course.
Fun for any skill level
A nice short (par 63) that has lots of bunkers and tricky greens, somewhat challenging from the back tees!
Challenge Course
Had fun, paired w other couple who brought their 7 year old along to putt after each hole
Did not appreciate that, wish we could have snuck off ahead of them
EagleCrest is great place, hope to buy a second home there soon
Great course
Love this course as provides challenges with every shot. A little slow today, the starter had to break up a 5 some ahead of us...but that did not speed it up much.
Good shape for February play
This course is fun and great for improving the short game
Challege Course
Can't beat the warmest part of a Winter day on a challenge course for $20!! Have played the course 4 times now and would play again tomorrow if I had the time.
Great fun course
We had great time even in cool weather. Course in great shape for winter. Loved all the deer. They were patient with us invading their space. :)
Mid-winter jewel
Scored a perfect mid-winter day to play golf in Central Oregon. 59 degrees, no wind, crystal clear skies. Course was amazingly green for January. Just a touch of sogginess in a few low spots along with the occasional patch of snow. Neither hindered play in any way. The Challenge Course is always good, but this was an exceptional day for this time of year.
Great qucik play on a good challenging course.
This is a nice place to be able to play a shorter, but challenging course. The greens fees are a little on the high side, & the cart fee seemed pretty high compared to other comparable courses in the area.
great test
Course was in amaculate shape thought. It was just basic executive course but far from that quite challeging. And whole lotta fun we walked I would recomend getting power cart this is not flat course alot of up aznd downs. But well worth playing cant wait to get back
All around good
I like the challenge course because you have a great variety of shots from all distances, especially wedge shots that really matter. I have always played from the blues, but tried the white tees this time. It was a totally different course, more pars (and luckily some birdies too). The staff and facility at Eagle Crest are always great!
My favorite Eagle Crest Course
Beautiful course - perfect for a 20+ handicapper. Love shooting in the 80's. The greens were very fast.
Fun and challenging -- as the name says!
Great short course but need to be accurate with distance control. Used most of the clubs in my bag.
Greens were in good shape. We paid $29 per person via Golf Now but they charged us $17.50 per rider in the cart - seemed kind of steep for an executive course.
Great course for the money.
It's a nice and challenging course. The fairways are surrounded by big swells on both sides so if your not hitting fairways it's going to be a rough day.
Great Course
The course has 9 par-3 and 9 par-4 holes. All are beautiful and offer a nice challenge. Great little course!
Like playing with WIllie Nelson
IOW it was like having our own course. THe condition was fabulous. Not ball marks on greens. Fairways like carpet. There were people behind us but as a twosome we got so far ahead that we were all alone.
