Great for kids with some playing time under their belt.
Great for kids with some playing time under their belt. Holes from the red tees are just perfect. While the blue tees will challenge the good players.
outstanding features
don't let the shortness fool you; this course has every feature imaginable and all will challenge your game. Good luck!!
The course was all that I expected and more.
This course is great for the senior player who can no longer pound the ball. Course management is a must on this track and you will be rewarded with a very satisfying round. It is well maintained and the greens are moderate speed with a good true roll of the ball.
Beautiful course and great views.
For an executive course it is a bit expensive, especially after you include your cart.
Good experence
Tight fairways, leads to small, very quick greens. Bunkers held good sand, thank goodness I found only two. You must keep the ball in the fairway and use the black (100 yd) marker as your guide to where you hit the ball, then your second shot is easy.
Great course for players of all levels.
I am an 18 handicapper and my wife has been playing less than a year. This course provided a fun and challenging experience for both of us. The course is in beautiful shape and is the best "executive" course I have ever played due to the variety of distances, traps, and general layout. I would recommend it to players of any and all levels.
Fun Course
The course is a fun and challenging executive course Alternating par 3 and par 4 holes, all of which are interesting. Nice layout and beautiful views
keep it in play or pay
great time on a short challenging course need to hit good straight shots
Great Golf
Loved playing at Eagle Crest. I recommend it to every level of golfer.
Nice par 3-4. Greens recently punched but still nice course
Challenging par 3-4. Not a routine executive course.
Fun course that had some interesting challenging holes.
We had a great time. Course was different than many courses in Central Oregon.
Just coming out of winter so just a little rough around the edges.
The course, during summer is usually kept up very well. It is well maintained for the amount of play it gets. Great layout for an executive course.
This course is a good test on all the par 3's and some challanging par 4's
Course was in good early season shape. The greens are coming back from winter conditions and fairways are beginning to green up.
Great tune up course
This course although short is a great one for tuning up your game. You will use all the clubs in your bag and enjoy having to think about how you will try to place your shots for best scores . I played this in Mar. and it is still pretty cold thus it was not real green yet but will be beautiful in May. Several elevated tees provide great views as a bonus. You won't be dissappointed.
Can't wait to play it again in the spring.
Weather forecast was 50+ degrees for golf on Tuesday. Unfortunately a cold front appeared and we only had a high of 34 degrees. Despite the cold, I played my best round on this course. I'm a beginner golfer so this course is challenging for me and a good short-game course for my boyfriend who is a 14 handicap. Can't wait to play this course again in the spring.
Love the Challenge Course at Eagle Crest
Pretty sure that I've reviewed this one before; we play it several times per year. It's a Par 63, about 4,000 yards from the Whites with a nice selection of 3's and 4's. Nothing scary, it's a great course to take a fledgling golfer who may not be ready for prime-time. You need to be relatively accurate as some of the fairways are lined with trouble but if you can pin the ball in a spot 60 to 80 yards wide, you're golden. Most of the Par 4's truly are but 17 and 18 (238 and 217 yards, respectively) are reachable for a solid player. 5 and 14 are the only holes with water definitely in play. You may find it helpful to take an extra club on 14 if the wind is moving at all - it tends to come down the hill to the green (towards you) but spills off to the sides before reaching the tee box because of the landscape. Check the flag closely before you tee off. Pace of play is usually really good, we finished this round in just under 3 hours (walking) and probably would have been 15-20 minutes faster except we had to wait for the threesome in front of us on most of the last 6 holes.
Great value, good practice
Played early November and we were the only 2 on the course. Although a shorter course, with par 62, still plenty of challenge and fun. Even though it is among homes, there is enough variety in the terrain and strategic placement of homes that it doesn't feel like a cookie cutter, housing development course.
The course can be more difficult tahn you might expect.
The course was in great condition. The greens were fairly fast and smooth. We were able to play in short sleeve golf shirts at the end of November. Typical Central Oregon weather!
This course was in excellent condition.
This was definitely a great value for the money. The course was in excellent shape and we were able to complete the round in 4 hours.
