McNary Golf Club
About
McNary Golf Club is located on the site that once was the homestead of Charles McNary (1874-1944), prominent Oregon Congressman, lawyer, and vice-presidential running mate of Wendell Willkie. Since he was an ardent golfer, it is appropriate that this course was named in his honor at its opening in 1962. The course was developed by Jim Sill who wanted to build an enjoyable course for the average golfer. Initially, the McNary home was used as the clubhouse. Today, modern clubhouse facilities, including the well known McNary Restaurant & Lounge, overlook the course. All the necessary amenities are available. The golf course features lush fairways, spacious greens, and hazards that provide a challenge for all golfers. Claggett Creek comes into play on holes 1, 9, 10, and 18. The challenge and beauty of the course has also been augmented with several small lakes with fountains.

Great Course
In nice condition. Most fairways are wide. Some water hazards. Hole 10 has two greens, with shorter one on less behind a big tree. You may not be able to see the flag from the tee. Would definitely play it again.
Country Club conditions
This was my 1st time playing McNary CC and it was a real treat. You will use every club in your bag and tale what the course gives you. There is a great mix of long, short, and dogleg. The conditions are excellent. I was also very lucky to be matched up with a member, and Marine. Steve O. It was a great day that I will definitely love to repeat.
Great City Course
Course is in good condition… For a course that is nestled amongst houses, it plays well and is always a pleasure to play.
Awesome course!
Overall amazing course. Awesome, fun, and challenging holes, nice staff, delicious food! 10/10
Lovely Course
excellent condition, nice and wide, challenging greens
Nice course, well kept
great staff, great greens(just rolled). Greens are challenging with some diffucult pin placements. Course is pretty wide open. Some hidden water.
Course winds between houses, don't recommend walking.
Clubhouse
Understaffed with one person doing clubhouse and carts.
There was very limited Soda pops, like one Diet Coke
