One of the better NYC public courses

Good value, good pace of play, nice course layout. Teeboxes and bunkers need some work but fairway and greens in great condition. Overall great experience, would definitely play again.

Teed off in time, p

Layer front nine in about 1 hour and 25 minutes with cart, back nine a tad over 2 hours, nice pace of play, course in excellent shape, greens were amazing. Overall as good as this course gets.

Fun in SI

Nice course, pleasantly surprised. Friendly easy going atmosphere. Great deal at GN. Pace of play was awesome during afternoon, fairways and greens nice condition. Like the layout, fun... will be back for sure.

Greens in good shape

Enjoyed an afternoon round here last weekend while every other city course was packed until 3PM due to the amazing weather. Pace of play moved surprisingly well and greens were in excellent shape for an NYC course. Staff were all very friendly, especially in the Boxwood Cafe. Only complaint was that they don't have any water coolers out on the course at the moment, but had a great round aside from that!
