One of the Best Courses on the West Shore
Range End conditions are great and the layout is fun. You can play without being miserable as many off fairway shots are recoverable.
Great condition
Awesome golf course. The only issue was when I went to pay for the round. I was not given the corporate rate that Karns associates are too get when they play range end .
Great Condition!
The course was in great condition—fairways and greens. Parts of the cart path are a bit rough but will sacrifice that for good playing conditions.
The newly renovated dining area was very nice and the food was delicious.
Good Course
It was a great day to play golf and the course was in excellent condition. Their cart paths could use some work in some spots but overall it was a great day for golf. Pace slowed down a little on the back due to some walkers that we caught up to but it wasn't terrible.
Great course for the money
This is the first time playing this course. I have played courses in North Carolina and they were not in this good of shape. I hope to ay this again should the opportunity come again. You have to be straight on some fairways, but overall had a good time.
Big D
Course was good despite previous day thunderstorms.
Nice course
Really well kept course, bravo. Tee boxes are nice, fairways on point, greens well kept, even the rough on most holes is well kept. Front is alittle nicer than the back. The ponds are awesome. Definitely would recommend.
Awesome course, great price.
Played Range End GC two days in a row. Course is in great shape. The course setup changed from one day to the next, and these changes made the course a different challenge each day. The greens and tee boxes are in great condition. The course is fun, yet challenging. It is also fair when you happen to hit an errant shot. The course is a tremendous value for what you get for the price. The beer made in site and restaurant are great also. Worth the trip for anyone from the east shore, and this course should be one of your top options if you live on the west shore.
Enjoyed the course
Pace of play slow four and half hours other then that the course was in great shape.
Course conditions were good for this time of year.
Great public course
Great course. Amenities were closed due to COVID, but bar cart was accessible.
Great restaurant and bar when open, otherwise.
Course was in great shape. Great pace.
Friendly staff.
Double booked
Let me start by saying I’ve played plenty of enjoyable rounds here so I’m not saying the course isn’t worth playing by any means. Today, however, was a different story. My group was booked almost a week in advance for a 10:40 tee time, when we showed up to the pro shop everything initially went as it should. It wasn’t until we’d paid and proceeded to the first tee box, where we were met by a total cluster of people, that we were approached by someone telling us that they were part of an outing and he was “also” going out at 10:40. I’m not sure who was at fault and nobody from the course seemed to be willing to acknowledge the issue or in the very least apologize for the mix up/double booking. Needless to say we had to wait for 5 groups and a total of 50 mins later than our original tee time until we actually were allowed to go out. Obviously this led to an awful pace of play for the entire round. What perturbed me the most was that at no point during the transaction in the pro shop were we given any heads up to the situation we were about to walk into. Unless this outing was scheduled in the last 24 hours we were never notified of the pending situation. The course itself is in great shape, my gripe was strictly how this particular situation was managed or lack there of. An apology would’ve been suffice but instead we got nothing.
