Great layout. Bad care.
There is a reason in us called “dead pines” golf course. Very little care. Most of the time you cannot distinguish the fairway from the rough and the greens are sooooo slow!
Return to an old friend
I haven’t played this course in I bet 20 years and I had forgotten how much fun it was. The staff was extremely friendly, the conditions were excellent and the course, at 6000 yards from the tips, plays much longer than you would think.
For a locally family owned golf course with several of the par fours are well over 400 yards and there is a 245 yard par three, it’s a test for any 10+ handicapper. Add to that you start off with two par fives and you have a great opportunity to work out the kinks by the time you go through the rest of the course.
Honestly the only challenge I had were the greens were considerably slower than what I typically play at Turtle Creek or Jeffersonville. But the conditions of the greens were perfect and my putts rarely ever moved off their line.
Very rude service.
Extremely rude. I played on golf now and showed all of the records and the woman at the desk said I was wrong and told me I couldn’t play. After asking again and showing he the confirmation she reluctantly let me and the boys play. Saying as I left. “If you are lying I have your credit card and will charge it” just rude.
Good course little long for people over 70
The par fours and fives are to long for people over 70 other wise this is a good place to play
Good course
Staff very friendly course is in good condition will play again
Great Value
Greens were a little slow for my liking however they were pristine. The clearly have made an effort to keep the greens nice considering the time of year some courses have some rough bumpy and balding greens. For 23 dollars you won’t find a better value.
Fall Day
Cloudy high in the upper 60’s. One or two balls lost under leaves. Greens in very good shape. Friendly women at check in. Pace of play good. Some tees just the fairway with markers. Very little sand. Saw one trap full of water. Greatly improved since playing here last year.
Would recommend!
Great Conditioj
We last plat6ed here years ago and it was in terrible shape. Boy have they improved it the greens especially were perfect. The approaches were also perfect
