Tee boxes & fairways were in great condition. Greens very fast with lots of undulations but were in fantastic shape.

Did not start us at scheduled tee time and only got in 9 holes with so many plsyes out on the course. Agonizingly slow pace of play.

Course in fantastic condition, greens fast and true. Lots of fun to play, not long but greens make it challenging. Only negative is pace of play can be slow.

Scenic course with a nice layout. Greens are extremely challenging. Large, fast and no flat spots. You can easily roll off the green on a 4-foot putt on some greens. Prices are high to nail the summer vacationers, but you can get deals on Golf Now as low as $12. Staff is friendly and helpful but no drink carts so bring your own hydration. Work your way around carefully and you will have a good time.

This is one of my favorite courses to play in NC. The course is always in great shape. The staff is always friendly and more than willing to help! The layout is challenging, especially from the blue tees. The high country views will more than make up for a poor score!

The Boone course is a beautiful setting. The course lay out is very challenging. Playing in the morning the grass is wet so adds more strokes vs. afternoon when dried out. Also, pin placements can be very challenging...and require vey precise approach shots and putts...easy to 3 putt many holes.

Don't get to disappointed with your score...just enjoy the beauty of the course.

Practice facilities were minimal except for the practice greens which gave you an idea of what was to come on the course.

Greens on the course had many undulations, were fast and hard to read so very challenging.

The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Many of the holes were very scenic.

The course was pretty busy but moving at 4.5 Hour pace. It is helpful to have prior playing experience but is overall fun.

first Time playing. Elevation about 3500 feet. Amazing walkable for course in the mountains, even though I rode (saw lots of people walking.. Green complexes very difficult, but in great shape. Greens fast. I will play this course again.

Fun afternoon of golf with good friends from Florida. The course was, and usually is, in great condition and the staff is always friendly. The restaurant upstairs is a good place to discuss your good and bad shots. The ambience is kind of plain, but the food is good! Great place to play.

Being from Florida I loved the opportunity to play bent grass greens. Fast, smooth and in excellent condition. Fairways can be described the same. 73 and played from the senior tees that were distance fair. A little water and a few sand traps with wide fairways. Played twice while on vacation and really enjoyed the experience. Staff were exceptionally friendly.

This course is surprisingly flat for the part of the country in which it is. It is a first rate course, maintained superbly, and run with professional efficiency and courtesy. All aspects of the course-greens, fairways, tees, bunkers - are top notch. We played on a busy Wednesday morning and experienced very little delay

The staff is very accomodating. We were paired with two other singles. Course of play was good. The holes are very different Layouts.

Nice layout , great shape. Pri shop was overcrowded for 1 person behind the counter. Pase of play TERRIBLY SLOW. Need on course ranger.
