Boone Golf Club

First round here. Very nice golf course. Excellent condition. Fair test on a well designed layout. Greens were truly exceptional. Speeds on greens were consistent (and fast), with outstanding turf and some very interesting undulations. Fairways and tee boxes were also in excellent shape. An otherwise perfect day was diminished only by a very slow pace of play and no marshaling. Seems like they had way too many people on the course, double-starting on front and back tees for PM rounds at 7 or 8 minute intervals. Round took 5 hours, 10 minutes - painfully slow at times.

Great golf course with super staff. Always in outstanding condition. Good food provided by a local restaurant, Casa Rustica. I always play here when I'm in Boone.

Excellent course. Beautiful setting. Pristine fairways and greens. But the designer of the par 3s is an evil man. Visually tormenting. Just long enough to be entirely intimidating. I'll be ready next time. I'll bring my shrink!

Overall one of the best experiences I've had taking into account course conditions, staff friendliness and the whole scenario.

Very nice course. Went back the next day just to see if I could 3 putt that many greens again. I did not! You gotta play this course once or twice before you understand it!

Was very excited to play here but did not deliver. Fathers Day weekend, the course was WAY overbooked to played in 5+ hours. Tee to green in good shape but greens were AWFUL. Too fuzzy and too much traffic. Fun layout but will not return. Too many other good courses in the area.

Second time playing golf course. We play a rotation that includes Elk River in Banner Elk, Linville Ridge, Grandfather Mountain and Boone Golf Club. Boone Golf Club has always been on par (pardon the pun) with the other courses in our rotation. Course condition is excellent and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Always a pleasure to play this golf course, especially the back nine

I have played here several times and look forward to it every time. While it is not the most challenging course for the more advanced golfers, the conditions from the tee box to the greens are fantastic. The greens are a bit challenging as they carry the varying slopes from the mountain terrain so bring your putting game. I have come several times as a single and usually get paired up with a great group.

Very beautiful course,. Greens will well-kept and a little slow. The staff was great very helpful. I would definitely play here again especially with a hot deal from GolfNow.

Been playing this fun track for many years now. Course was in great condition, especially the fairways. Rainy month of May has the greens a week or two behind, so they may have run a bit slower on the stimp than usual, but they were plenty challenging.

Facilities are exceptional here. Range has been upgraded. There are two chipping areas that are very well maintained. The restaurant has good food (get the chicken salad sandwich) with various sandwiches and more. Staff is very friendly and helpful here, and insure a great time.

Boone GC is a great course for players of all skills. Everything is in front of you with no trick holes. Fairways are generous, and the greens very large. Putting depends on pin positions. They can make this course very challenging with some locations. I highly recommend.

It was a great day on a beatiful course! Elevation changes and the views while you play this wonderful course keeps you involved in your round. It doesn't hurt that temps are in 60's, speed of play is such that you are playing golf, not waiting at every tee box. FRESH MOUNTAIN AIR

My son and I had a nice time at Boone Golf Club. Staff was pleasant and ranger helpful. The course layout winds through the Valley with a few creeks and mountain views. No large drop offs or huge up hill holes, actually saw many walkers. The overall course conditions were average, greens slow with a lot of poa. Fairways and rough were a little long for my liking and the tee boxes were very thin and recently top dressed. Fun course for the deal we got on Golfnow but would not pay regular green fee to play again.

Only played a handful of times but really enjoy playing this mtn course and in great shape as usual. Tee boxes could use a little work but everything else was perfect.

Got a chance to play Boone Golf Club again this past week and as always, had an enjoyable round. Course is in good shape , tee to green. Got paired up with a threesome in a men`s group, as I don`t like to play by myself , and with wind gusting to 35mph, and sideways rain at times, made for an interesting round, but fun nonetheless. will go back again for sure.

The course is in absolute amazing shape. Fairways, greens all perfect. Probably the best shape of any course I have played in 5 years. The staff are extremely friendly. The course isn't very challenging but the greens make up for it. They are extremely challenging. U have to put it below the hole or u will three putt most holes. And it is very difficult to put it below the hole. I love this course and will play it many more times.
