About
Boone Golf Club is one of the area's most popular public courses. It was designed by Ellis Maples, the architect of many of the South's finest courses. Utilizing the dramatic Hill Country landscape, the course is as scenic as it is challenging. From the elevated tees you'll get a view of the surrounding mountains and the winding streams that meander through the golf course. The wide fairways are bordered by colorful wildflowers and the greens have subtle but tricky undulations. The par-5 sixth is one of the most memorable holes on the course. The green is the most challenging element of this hole, not only is it steeply pitched there is also water guarding the front. Boone Golf Club is a challenging but fair layout that golfers of all skill levels enjoy playing.

Golf in Boone
This course was worth the $44 price. It was in great condition and the views are awesome.
Golf in the Mountains
Played her lots of times and have never been disappointed. Have a hard time with the fast greens and placement of the flags but well worth it. Never turn down a chance to play Boone GC.

The course was very nice and in excellent condition. The greens are large and very challenging. The weather was beautiful and the pace of play was good.. Would definitely play it again.

Inspite of a lot of rain the past four days the course was in great shape.Our foursome had a great afternoon.The course is playable and fun.

Great round, Course takes your breath away with the scenery. Great staff, Small pro shop but excellent prices and merchandise, good sales.

i enjoyed the course . the greens were challenging but fair. the fairways rewarded good drives and could punish bad ones. i enjoyed the course greatly and would definetly play it again. i did run into some players that were slow and did not let us play through, which was annoying.

The course is very well structured with collared greens, 1st cut of rough, consistent greens and well maintained. The setting surrounded by mountains is quite pleasant. My wife and I enjoyed playing the course and surely will play there again.
Can not comment on the restaurant as it was closed at 6 pm when we finished our round. The ranger paired us with another couple our age which turned out well. We are both seniors.
Great Sunday Round
It had rained on Saturday and needed to get out on Sunday after the Open Championship. Course was in very good condition. Generous fairways, nice greens with some undulation and a nicely maintained course.
Par threes were fairly long considering I played the 6000 yard tees.

Very average. Greens very spongy. Tees in poor condition. Fairways good

paired with two high handicaps.made for tough day.played course several times need more on course supervision.

Out of town and took a chance
First time I played out of town when taking a small vacation. Great first experience! Paired up with a great 3-some. Beautiful course and great memory. Immaculate condition and super friendly staff.

The Boone Golf Club is a very nice track that I would highly recommend. The staff was over the top friendly.
First time is fun!
Very playable course, it's right there in front of you. The greens are huge and there is great potential for three putts. Staff is outstanding.

Pace of play very slow, payed for 18 holes but only played 10 holes, would have been dark before being able to finish
