very scenic course with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding the course with winding streams and scattered wildflowers. nice wide fairways so only lost a couple of balls in the mountain streams.Greens were in good shape medium to ample in size...some very idulated but a little slow

love this course....played it 3 times while on vacation in that area. the back nine is awesome. will definitely play again.

I would play this course everyday if possible. A gem. Great layout with both challenging and rewarding holes. Well maintained with beautiful scenery.

The course was in great condition. I played by myself and the members or other players were most gracious in letting me play through them. One threesome and 3foursomes allowed me to play through. I played the round in about 2 & 1/2 hours. I highly recommend it"...........Bob Hege

beautiful course was a little tough good price for 18 holes would play again

This is one of my favorite courses to play so anytime I'm in the area I try to play. That being said I used GOLFNOW.com and got a great deal for 18 holes for $20. Can't beat that. The only reason I scored the course conditions as 4 stars was b/c the greens were recently punched. But to be honest they still rolled true. In a week or so they will be pristine. Other than that if your an avid golfer you need to play this course. It's worth what they charge but if you can get it for cheaper than your stealing.

Played 4/18/14 and again 4/20/14, Course is in Beautiful condition. Greens have been arified a month ago, but healing nicely. Greens should be in Super condition by 2nd week in May.
Won't fine a prettier course around, now. Worth the drive to Boone, N.C.

Great course. Mowed stripped fairways, greens are healing nicely after being plugged and sanded. Generous rough, wide fairways but still a challenging course. It's the best in the area during the spring, summer and fall. You can't go wrong playing Boone GC.

Played 18 holes with my son on a cool and breezy day. Despite the conditions, we had a great time and the course was in very good shape considering it was just April in the high country. We always enjoy playing the Boone course -- challenging, but not imposing and beautiful. Highly recommended.

Should've put the big A on golf now for aerification, greens were covered with dirt and holes and not really rolled well. Also left all the little dirt plugs near greens, how ugly. Any price over $20 at this time I would not play, fairway grass is a bit high - hard to figure out where rough is.

This course was in great shape. The fairways and greens were well maintained. The course offered a great challenge. Word of advice don't be above the hole!

Course is well maintained, with some challenging shots. The greens are undulating, and are difficult to putt if the ball is not below the hole. Hole #6 is a gem of a par 5 with water in front of the green, and a steeply pitched green. Staff were great, conditions were great, and the pace of play was quite good.

greens are fun to put on, but do not be short or your ball will roll off, as mine did on couple of holes

Very enjoyable. Not too difficult from white tees. Mounded undulated greens make it more challenging than it would be otherwise. Great views. In great shape. Greens roll true. Will go back soon!

noticed a lot of walkers. I had a hard time with my tempo. played w/2 walkers. 2 walkers and 1 rider ahead of us and 2 riders behind us. greens were fast and true. on back nine 2 tee boxes and 1 green were all within talking range of each other. a lot of lay up shots-creeks and small ponds. greens had a lot of undulations.

Conditions great, staff really friendly and welcoming, pace of play 4 hours

Had a great time and met new people. Golf was great. Wet course play.

With all the rain the area has had the course was in excellent shape. Constant mist fell throughout the round but otherwise great day on the course.

The course is fun to play but pace of play was very slow. That is the second day that the pace was slow in two weeks.
