About
There are two 18-hole courses available at the Hickory Valley Golf Club, the Presidential and the Ambassador. The Presidential is the flagship course and it is also the longer and tougher of the two. The layout incorporates nine of the club's original 27 holes. The Presidential is nearly 300 yards longer than its sister course at 6,721 yards from the championship tees. The golf course has a nice balance of player-friendly features and challenging hazards. The wide fairways are quite forgiving, while the large, undulating greens are framed with bunkers. The signature hole is the par-4 second, which gently doglegs right, requiring a long and accurate tee shot. You're not out of trouble yet though, you'll still have to face the heavily bunkered green that also has a pond to the right.

Awesome track
Great layout. Not ridiculous tough, but not easy either. Some opened fairways, some tight, most greens are decent sized but pretty undulating

Decent course for the value
I played the Presidential course. Greens are good, as are fairways. The cartpaths could use some help and the carts are old.
Other nearby courses are in much better shape but cost more
that being said, I paid $37 for an early start time from Golf now with a cart. They let me off first so I got around in about 3 hours.
there is a driving range with the length being about 175 yards
If you are looking for decent golf for an affordable price, then this is a place for you

It’s very mediocre
Tee boxes are kind of beat up. A LOT of doglegs. Cart path is very bumpy. But I did like it.

Great Layout
Presidential Course is a challenging layout. Greens and fairways in excellent shape. Golfers who play there however need to fix their ballmarks on these nice greens.

Challenging but fair course
Course was in great condition. Played early in the AM as a solo. Course requires to to have fairly accurate shots as there are a lot of trees lining the fairways. Course was fun and the greens were in great shape.

Challenging 36
If you’re looking to post your best round, the presidential course may disappoint, but if you’re looking for a place where shot placement, challenging approaches a few tight fairways and holes that tempt you to go for it, then it’s a fun course. Played the Presidential and the Ambassador a few times and both are fun, well maintained, greens roll well. Presidential is overpriced in my opinion and on sight amenities are sub par, beverage cart seems to only run on weekends

Love This Course
I really like the layout of both courses at Hickory Valley. The course was in excellent condition. The fairways and greens are in great shape. The only thing that bothered me was that the people who play this course do not fix their ball marks on these nice greens. Otherwise I love this course.

Worth a visit
Great 36 hole course. Both have a lot of trees which make misses off the tee costly. Greens were in good shape, however tee boxes need some love i found many times i didnt have a flat spot to stand on. Customer service is great and they actually have a starter which helps with pace. Will play again.
