Course has some extremely difficult holes
The fourth hole is a challenge for any golfer. A layup shot is required and then leaves a tough shot uphill to the green.
Boring course worse conditions
This has to be the worst course I’ve played in PA. No heads up as well about a tournament so I show up already paying 18 and they’re say play quick we got a shotgun start at 4…
Could care less about that but the condition of the course was pathetic.
Good first round
Interesting layout. Conditions pretty good even for 37 degrees in December.
Friendly service
Paid for 9 holes in the pouring rain and got comped another 9 for the rain. No one was at the course so I had full range and time to take good shots. Manada is my home course I love it here
Rough Shape
Most of the area courses are dry and hard this time of year but these fairways had very little grass. The greens held but were recently aerated, which made them hairy and bumpy. Some were really gouged as if the machine wasn’t set correctly. Add in the 4 3/4 hour round (with no ranger on a holiday weekend) and it wasn’t a very favorable golf experience.
Great Course!
I have always liked Manada golf course. The course is always in pretty good condition. The greens are fantastic. It's pretty wider open on many holes, but challenging enough for most golfers. Pace of play can be influenced by vacationing casino goers, fyi. Overall, a fun experience.
Greens are terrible
Nearly all greens are garbage. Some sort of disease or something, craters and lines making putting impossible. Whatever price you pay to play it’s too much until this gets fixed.
