Macoby Run Golf Course

Course was great, but drought helps it play shorter, a couple of the greens were unreasonably fast. Leaves are cleaned off and daily work always keeps the course playing well

Tee times were not followed, we showed for our 11:52 tee time and the people who were supposed to follow us were already teeing off. We actually got to tee off finally at 12:03. Play was so slow because of so many people that we completed the 18th green at 17:03 (5 hours to play a round).

I play this course all the time I just want to start off by saying that. If you are looking for a challenging but yet score-able course this is for you!. Hands down my favorite course in the area. I always say Macoby is the best course in the area for its price. I have played a lot of courses and I keep coming back to this one. Very well maintained. The Greens roll true. One of the best course layouts. Friendly staff who accommodates you if needed. Im telling you guys come check the course out, you will not regret.

Played this course on a beautiful autumn day. It was .my third experience this year and it never disappoints. The first twelve holes consists of hills, valleys and doglegs.and last six are up and back straight forward holes. The challenge on most holes are the navigation of their putting surface. These are easily one of the best maintained and manicured greens in the Philly area. It appears that the grounds superintendent has a passion for his responibility. They are mowed and rolled daily..The newly, additional irrigation system improves these greens and tee boxes to private course quality. This farming family has done wonders to their land .

Awesome course. Well kept and challenging holes. Elevation changes on some holes provide immediate feedback on knowing your distances! Had an excellent round and will absolutely be back. Jason in the clubhouse was knowledgeable , friendly, and helpful. The only reason for a 4 star on pace of play was because of a frost delay.

Course always kept very well, greens roll true and fairways look and feel great. Definitely a friendly layout for people who spray their drives (myself included) and it’s a great place to pick up the game or go out for a fun round. My only complaint is the tee boxes are a little uneven, but they are still kept well. Easily the best bang for your buck course in the Philly area.

Course is interesting…… Keep the ball in Fairway …. The rough is deep !! Definitely a Good Value… Check it out !!

Course maintenance was impeccable. Dog legs and elevation changes make it difficult.

This course is well maintained and has many challenging holes that will keep you coming back.

Course condition was ok, but layout not the best. First half of course lots of different elevations, but most holes are pretty narrow. Last group of holes all straight and flat, but still narrow and uninteresting. No marshal or course management, so pace of play poor. Plenty of loud morons with no idea about basic etiquette. Wouldn’t play here again, not worth the cost or the trek to the back of beyond.
