When looking for a place to go Macoby is the Go To place
Fun round at Macoby
This was the first time I played Macoby Run in 20+ years. The course was in very good condition. You need course knowledge to score well. It seems all the fairways and greens bounce one way or the other. You need to play for the run. The greens were fast and had a lot of run beyond the hole. Enjoyable day...there weren't that many people for a Friday mid-morning, but it was very slow. I want to play again when my game improves.

The course was better than expected for this time of year. Looks like work is being completed to improve conditions. Always enjoy the changes in elevation. Would highly recommend.
Playing it Again
Played the course from the tips, it plays true to its distance with a mixture of uphill and downhill shots. Fairways are cutt well, and defined from the rough. Greens are trimmed decent, but need to be rolled. The amount of play this course gets would lead me to believe that the greens need to be rolled at least once a week, as it felt like our entire group was putting on Velcro all day. All in all a good round of golf for a decent price. I will be coming back later in the year to play it when things have grown out, and the greens have been rolled.
Favorite Course in PA
Challengingly easy and a very fun course. Conditions were immaculate, especially considering we’re pre-spring. Can’t wait to go back.
As usual…ranger needed.
Like most courses, they chase players away by packing the tee times too tight and not having a ranger to more the pace of play along. I like Macoby Run but the rounds are too long.
Amazing vistas
I drove from north NJ about 1:45 hours, this place was worth it…. Great price helped with the gas, but really one of the best courses I’ve played in a while. Ground crew guy that cuts the holes needs a girlfriend really bad!!! Lastly very nice staff. All winter die hards go play this course

Excellent course , was a windy day but that’s expected this time of year. Can’t wait to play in season. Great course, fun and challenging
