About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Very average course
Good value for your money (paid only $33 for a Sunday afternoon tee time), but not the best course in Montgomery County. Some Teeboxes not it great shape, sand traps not raked, and some divots on greens not repaired.
Great for the price
Landis is always reliable. Friendly staff in the pro shop, always helpful. Very good prices, lots of courses tee time costs have gone up in the last year, landis is usually still around 42-45/round. Spring hollow jumped to 66, so landis is great for the money.
Great course for the money, pace of play is always good here compared to other courses.
Course Needs a Lot of work.
A few years ago this was a very nice course. The last 3 rounds here have it has been in less than stellar conditions. Last year I figured it was lack of maintenance funding from the covid shutdown, but this year is even worse. Tee boxes have not been aerated a in a long time, need to be leveled, are hard clay and look like they have been cut with a weekwacker. Bunkers are all basically raked waste bunkers right now, and Fairways had tall tuffs of grass randomly here and there.
The staff, bar and restaurant are the best part of this place. Really Hope this place makes a turnaround because it can be a really great course.
Bring a GPS
Hardly any yardage markers out there. Got a GolfNow hot deal for forty bucks and that was a good deal. Don’t think I would pay much more than that for this course. Not bad, greens are decent. All in all I would definitely play again for forty bucks
Keeps Getting Better
The course conditions continue to improve since new ownership took over a few years ago. The only real issue is the trees are overgrown in some parts, which makes some shots ridiculous (Especially 11 and 16).
Landis Creek
2nd time playing there. Underwhelming layout. Bunkers need a lot of work. Decent greens and fairways. Tee boxes were hit or miss. Gravel cartpaths were bumpy. They need better signage to let you know where the next hole is located.
