Landis Creek Golf Club
About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Better than I expected
Pace was perfect as I had a first time player with us that played occasionally thru the round nice bar/ restaurant at the end
Greens were in great shape, hard to find your ball if you miss the fairways. . The rough was really rough
Nice course, drainage was not great
After a recent round of storms the course did not drain well. Cart paths are gravel and flooded while they required cart path only. Landis has potential if they can pave the cart paths, improve the quality of rough, and improve tee/green drainage. Club house and bar area are top notch even with cover impact. I would play here again with drier conditions and post cover for a fuller experience.
Enjoyable
Inexpensive, relaxing ,enjoyable with conditions far exceeding the far more expensive poorly kept courses in the area(spring hollow)
Not very challenging but sometimes you just want to have fun and swing away .
Beautiful day, good golf
Course was in pretty good shape overall. A couple of the greens had large patches where it looked like irrigation lines crossed under them and a couple others that had some balding areas. Still not a fan of numbers 10 and 11, but what can you do? Got a good rate through online reservation. Staff was friendly and polite. Pace of play was actually good for a holiday weekend, finished in a shade under 4 hours. Not the course's fault, but a couple groups of careless Yahoo's took a little of the fun out of the day.
Course is in nice shape
Course is in nice shape. Some of the putting greens need some maintenance but overall thought it was a good deal.
Wish it received better care
Have played this course of ton cause I enjoy the layout, its close by, and it used to be very reasonably priced. Prices go up but the care of the course is subpar. Every flowerbed at each tee is overgrown and not cared for. Cart paths are basically off-roading. Litter is at every tee box because there are no trash cans. It could be so much nicer and it is a fun layout still, but I’ll definitely start going elsewhere unless there are some signs of care given to the course.
Friendly staff solid course
A tale of two nines. The front straight forward the back you better know what to do. The course is in great shape and the staff very friendly and welcoming
Lot of fun
Just played for my first time here. Had a lot of fun and I'm not sure what the person's frame of reference is for saying this is the worst kept course in Philadelphia. I can attest that is not true at all.
Not an incredibly challenging course, but I used a lot of my bag and scored pretty well. Will be back.
