Landis Creek Golf Club

About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Huge Improvements
My buddy and I played here just over a year ago and I gave it a 3/5. We were hesitant to play again and I’m so glad we did. Conditions rivaled some local courses at twice the price. Fairways were tight and greens rolled well.
Nice day
Happy with round. One suggestion. Yellow tees need work. Most areas between tee markers unlevel. Hard to concentrate when ground behind , in front, or to the side of your ball is higher or lower or you have an uphill or downhill lye on a tee. Maybe roll them after next soaking rain
Course conditions
The course was in great shape, one of the best that I have played lately. From the Teebox to the green was in great shape on each hole. Looking forward to playing here again very soon.
Course
The courses in great shape. Have played A lot of other courses that cost a lot more money and we’re in a lot worse shape. Looking forward to getting out again and play here next week
Good course
Course was in good shape. Pace of play was very good by all.
New Golf Carts Improved Pace
New GPS carts that tell you if you are ahead or behind pace seem to have improved pacing. Greens are on the faster side. Fairways are mostly generous with a few tight holes. Only real complaint is the sand traps lack sand so I felt like they should be chipped out instead of playing a traditional sand shot. Added bonus there is a walking price at all times and you can book a tee time as a single joining other groups.
Excellent value for 18 holes
This course is easy to get on and the pace of play is good. Course layout is pretty straightforward with some challenging holes. Bunkers need more sand for my liking. Tee boxes and greens look good for this early time of the year.
Good course. Unfortunate surroundings.
The course itself is great. Very muddy at certain points but it had just been raining plenty in the past few weeks so can’t knock them for that. The only thing really holding the course back is being surrounded by townhomes at pretty much all but 2-3 holes. It just takes away from the calming experience that I enjoy in playing golf.
