About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Not worth it.
The greens had good speed but were very filthy with with sticks and debris. The pace of play was unbearable and when ordering food ahead of the turn you would lose you place on the next hole with groups passing you. First thing I saw was guys wearing jeans and tee shirts on the first tee. As a golfer you know this a bad sign of what’s to come.
Cattle pasture with rough Greens and Tees
Play 18. The pro at the shop was standoffish. The course was in very poor conditions to start the season. The Tees were uneven which would not be as bad of a problem if their wasn't more divots than blades or grass. The course layout is a lot of back and forths, although the fairways are in good condition. The worst issue is that the green look like they are never edged or seeded.
Landis Creek
Strike three.
This is my third time playing this course in 3 years. I will not be coming back to play it again. The tee boxes were rock hard and sparsely covered in grass with a lot of dirt exposed. However, the greens were the real problem in that they were very bumpy and did not roll true. All three times that I have played there, the greens have been hideous. There are a ton of other nearby golf courses near them that are are far superior and a much better experience for the money.
Great conditions
Flew in from Charlotte and headed straight to the course. They offered walking push carts and allowed walkers. Greens were fast and course was clean.
Great shape fair layout
Very good conditions overall. A little soggy on some of the back 9 holes. Tee boxes, greens and fairways all good.
19th hole pub and food excellent.
Starter sucked
Played our round under 4 hours and yet the starter came out to the 18th green to tell us to hurry up. Ruined what was a good round because the starter couldn’t keep his yellow teeth in his mouth.
Starter
Starter was a complete d bag., we played our round in under 4 hours and he walked out mid putt on the 18th green to tell us to hurry up and that we were taking too long. Nice course but ruined by power hungry creeps
A day with FAMILY
Nice course to start the year .conditions not that good due to weather.Staff nice and helpful.will be back this year.
It was a swamp
Unfortunately the course was drenched. The pace of play was awful but cart path only will cause that. The bar was hopping and the staff was friendly. Course layout is good.
SOGGY!!
This was my third and probably be the last time I ever play this course. Strike three. It is a very average course layout but the conditions just keep getting worse. The greens were diseased. It was aerated a couple of weeks ago and it still is bumpy as all get out.
It had rained the night before but because ithe course drains so poorly you would have thought we had a monsoon. In fact, we did not. Thank goodness for waterproof golf shoes!
It is understandable that they were using temporary tees on every hole at this time of year, but my God, don't let them get to the point of a mud pit! Move the markers around periodically so that you are not teeing off in the mud for heaven's sake.
The last thing I will complain about were the golf carts. Fix the choke mechanism and the break systems on them. Nuff said.
Air rated n overpriced
Everything was aerated, tees, greens, fairways...price was same as Summer...Golf Now should have mentioned this. Greens were in poor shape.....would not play there under these conditions for $3.00. Drive 20 miles up 422 and play a REAL COURSE:READING CC.....played there today and it is in immaculate ondition for cheaper. Pace of play was like the golfers who play there. SLOW and LAME......THIS STINKS.
