About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Still a scoring course
Love playing here. Tee boxes in decent shape, bunkers haven't changed still must avoid them. They did add a pond in front on seven which I managed to find. Love the risk reward holes . Fairways on front wide open, the back requires accuracy
Complete dog track
Played here yesterday and what a disappointment. I understand the rain has been minimal, so I excuse some browning, but the tee box conditions were the worst I’ve ever seen. Complete lack of maintenance. Bunkers were unkempt and the greens were covered in ball marks. Fairways were just ignored all summer. They have given up on trying to take care of the course. Hole 17 is lined with piles of dead trees. Avoid at all costs.
Good Value
I have played here many times over the years. The course is better now than it ever was. New cart paths provided more comfort. The greens were in great shape but very firm and fast. Fairways are also very firm providing plenty of roll for those of us who need it. Only real complaint was the hardness of the tee boxes while attempting to put a tee in the ground. The bar and outside dining area is hard to beat if you value amenities. Great place to hang out after a round. The pro, Jason, is very accommodating and a great guy. I will definitely be back.
Nice course
Fun course the only down fall was tee boxes were hard as a rock very hard to place tee in womens tee boxes were even worse but besides that fun course and would recommend it to fellow golfers
sloths in front of us
early morning round & 3 some in front of us, took 5 hours to complete. pace of play was poor. grounds were like concrete. best part was the cart girl, which is why this gets a 2 star review.
Very dry.
I understand it’s summertime but the grounds were super dry and hard. Greens weren’t as bad. Layout wasn’t that great. Some holes you couldn’t even hit the fairway even with a straight drive because of the tress overhanging the fairway off the tee box. Wasn’t a big fan of the coarse
Slowest round of my life
Course was fine but took upwards of 5.5 hrs to play 18. Absolutely ridiculous, wife was not happy.
The course is a complete dog track what are you talking about
