Mainland Golf Course

Greens were in decent shape, fairways were poor in some spots good in others. Blue tee boxes are in rough shape. Some of the bunkers are maintained and some seem like they haven't been touched all season.

Hot dogs are really good and staff is friendly.

If you want to be treated like a tour pro you definitely will get the experience here. Course is phenomenal and the rates are fantastic. Why delay go play

would like to know why they rake traps that contain only dirt? i think maybe 10% of traps contain sand... most are dirt and rocks... first cut is excessively high also... making pace of play slower than meeds to be.. they need to mimic sister course Bella Vista conditions.

Course was dry and hard. A very high shot, coming almost straight down on the green would stay on the green. A number of shots with lower irons, hit at the correct height, landed on the front of the greens and bounced over. Tee shots ran a long ways on fairways that were very hard and mowed low. If the fairway had a slope, it was difficult to keep the ball from running to the rough. Lost 5 balls off tee shots and 4 of them were only a little off target.

Also, it is the type of course where playing it the first time (hadn't played it in many years and forgot) was a challenge.

When putting, the greens were slow, but I can see why they let the grass grow longer because some of the greens were very sloped.

Also GolfNow double booked out time. I booked a twosome, but GolfNow also booked a foursome for the same time. The pro was nice enough to cover up for your mistake. Good thing I had a printout of the GolfNow confirmation.

Great time with good friends. We were paired up with an old curmudgeon which stunk but that didn’t stop us from having blast!

Bargain to play in the beautiful farmlands of Harleysville. Very nice conditions, polite staff and very nice layout for the average golfer.Easily the best value in Montgomery or Bucks counties.

Course was in great shape, staff is very friendly. We did play behind a league which slowed the pace of at a bit, but it wasn't unbearable. A lot of tight fairways and OB. Enjoyed the day there.

First time playing here an it was great!! The course is only a little over 6100 yards, but you wouldn’t know it from playing the back tees. In the first 3 holes, you have 2 over 400 yard par 4s and a 500 yard par 5. Mainland Defiantly plays a lot longer then posted. The course was lush and the greens were as true as I’ve seen this year. Most of the par 3s are over 165 from the back. Nice and quiet in spite of the couple roads that run the course. Nice elevation changes and enough water to make Mainland, in my opinion, a true “ hidden gem “

lshame they let this place get so run down. seems like they put alll money into sistercourse, Bella Visa. shame because this is nice layout butsadly not very well mainrained.. water filled bunkers... water logged tee boxes... standing water around most greens...yncut greens...

So it rained A LOT the past few days - so it was Cart Path Only understandable.

IT was a Thursday day, and the course was not overcrowded.

We as a twosome were ahead of pace most of the round.

In the end there was a huge bottleneck of groups that slowed it down a lot.

The ground everywhere was wet from the rain and it made it challenging, and due to the rain the grass was not cut so it made the rough really rough.

I really like mainland even though it kicks my butt.

Overcast most of the time, cart path only as it had rained a lot overnight. About a 4 hour round. I would play it again, hopefully with no overnight rain next time.
