Played from the golds. Usually a big advantage on this short course. Some of the tees were a little uneven because they are included on the red (ladies) tees. Would like to see specific gold tees for senior men.

Traps were really the only thing letting this tight course down. Narrow fairways undulating greens make this interesting especially since your first shot is often blind. Thanks to the guys I was paired with for getting me from green to the next tee.

Pace of play ok for a Sunday, the course needs Rangers that will help keep people moving. The starter was great and accommodating .

Really like the layout of the course and the personnel are always very friendly.

However, not in the shape we expected right now, which is surprising, with all the rain. Fairways were good...greens varied in their condition (fix your ballmarks, golfers!)....lotta weeds just of the fairway. The bunkers are among the worst we've ever seen....dirt, stones, even oily, stagnant water on number ten. Huge bees in a lot of them...

I have played on Saturday Morning and overall experience was not good as I was expecting

Tee box need to be fixed, Green needs to be fixed, Fairway was okay not too great

I picked this course based on other reviews but to me, overall course shape wasn't great as I thought it was going to be

although staff was fairly friendly. in conclusion with weekend morning tee price, I rather go to other courses with better conditions

This grumpy old man needs to go over to Limekiln Golf Club and join all those other unhappy people. How can you not be pleasant as a starter? Most people are laughing and cracking jokes on the 1st tee. Not this guy. Got my money back and will never return. Ran outings here for years. It's a shame.

The course is as nice as I've ever seen. Lush rough and well manicured fairways. Smooth greens, a little faster than I was used to.

The scenery, and the staff are exceptional! And the course and conditions are really really good too. However it's a bit chaotic and busy. Lots of waiting and the layout is so that we accidentally hit into two groups on their tee box, and 3 different times balls flew into our area while we were teeing off.

Played on a Sunday morning in one of the first groups out. Pace was good. Not a lot of waiting around. Course is on the shorter side with only two par fives. Hybrids rarely needed. Need to be accurate on the back nine as there are lots of trees and ob danger. Two par fives are challening. Both with dog legs so course management is key to good scoring. I've played there a few times and always enjoyed it.

Course layout and marshalling play is very good. Just remember to bring cash for snacks no credit accepted outside of the pro shop or main area

This is a decent public course. I have no complaints. The second hole is a quirky dogleg right. I would not say the course is overly difficult. I am a 12 handicap. I hit my 3 wood off most of the tees. I had a shot getting on any par 4 in regulation. Everyone who works there was friendly. I will continue to play here.

Played the course on a beautiful fall afternoon. Clubhouse attendant was very pleasant, the starter was not. Biggest problem was pace of play. Took just over 5 hours to play 18. No rangers on course. Two groups on each tee waiting to tee off, sometimes three. Got to know the group in front of us, as well as the group behind.

Good deal. Very good course conditions except for the bunkers. They are working on them so should be better soon

We got a 7am tee time for $20 on a Friday morning. I thought it was the earliest time...but a slow twosome was out in front of us which slowed us down a little, but not too bad. The course was in pretty good shape and the greens rolled nice. Not overly fast; but quick enough and rolled smoothly. The sand traps are not very good...mostly clay and filled with rocks. That would be my only complaint about this course. But you can't beat the value and the course played very nice. Several challenging holes!

Had a great round at Mainland. Course is in great shape. Pace of play was excellent. I played as a single and moved well throughout the round
