Mainland Golf Course

Went as a single, played with a twosome. Nobody pushing us and nobody holding us up. About 3 1/2 hours. As expected after the wet winter we've had the greens were bumpy in spots and some of the bunkers were stone pits as the sand has washed out over the winter. But no worse than most courses in the area. Yes I would play again.

This was the 1st round of the year for our league(moved here from Gilbertsville)and I have to say Mainland makes Gilbertsville look like Augusta. Mainland was in pretty poor shape at this time of year...I hope conditions improve(10 more rounds to go). I'm not quite sure why they couldn't even whip or wipe the dew/moisture off the greens.

One pro....the bar/restaurant was really nice.

The course was in great shape considering the wet conditions over the past weeks. The greens were also in great shape, I like playing this course.

Great day. Hurricane Michael left our area and brought beautiful weather. Staff efficient and friendly. Course a little damp and justified cart path only. Overall a fun and enjoyable day.

It has improved with nice fairways but putting green is nt that good.

Great round today. Course was in great shape except for some greens where folks ahead of us had not fixed the damage they had caused. Some bunkers were also more like concrete and some were still full of water. But we did not have to wait for anyone and no one rushed us from behind. There were plenty of coolers with cold water along the course and after the 9th there is a little shop where we bought cold Gaterorade. Afterwards we had great beer and good food at their restaurant (19th hole). They had a great beer selection and we caught happy hour (4-6). On Monday’s they also sell their excellent house burger for only $6. Great deal all around!

The course is always in great shape. The layout is solid and a great value for the price

We had a great day. Fast pace. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a awesome day to spend our anniversary. Dinner at their restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back.

The people in front of us were giving instructions to each other and were taken at least 20 minutes to play each hole

They said on the 7 th hole we could play through but co timed on playing the hole. We skip thathole and ending up in five ishi g in less than 4 hours. The people there in Bach of us called the marshal but he was not much help for them. They were to fi is held the course in 5.5 hours.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot temperature. Fast pace due to high temp. I will lay again. Pleasant experience.

WE got behind a group of 3 and they were extremely slow. We are average golfers but this group was extremely slow. Almost 5 hour round, waited on every hole.

this course is incredibly well maintained and is challenging enough every time I play that I keep coming back. I really like the variety of holes that they have at this course.

Played Mainland this weekend and shot my best round of the year. Course was in pretty good shape, minus the rough. Currently, it’s pretty thick and if you find yourself hitting from it the lie is never good. Otherwise the fairways, greens and tee boxes were pretty good. Only issue I really had was the hold up in front of us. At one point we pulled up to a tee box and there were 2 foursomes yet to even tee off. We sat there for about 30-40 minutes before we swung the club again. The next few holes were a little slow but it sped up towards the back. All in all, I had fun and enjoyed it, thinking munch best round of the year had a little to do with it.

This. Course Is. a good muni course. Slow greeens and wide open. If you can snag it for less than $30, great range course :-)

For early in the year this course was in pretty good shape. The surprising part about the course it's so many blind tee shots and without knowing the course you can be way off base. You need someone who has played the course before or you'll enjoy it more the second time. The course is challenging due to the layout but long-ball hitters can certainly take advantage of shortcuts. I look forward to playing this course again and should drop two or three Strokes next round. A good course to play.
