Great Challenge
One of the nicer courses I’ve played in this area. If you’re up for a challenging course, this is the one.
Rate of play left something to be desired
Went on a Sunday which no doubt is a busy day but our tee time got pushed back almost 20 minutes and then once we did get out it was very stop and go and 18 holes turned into a five and a half hour affair. Overall the course is maintained very well. Some of the tee boxes had “interesting” contours but fairways and greens were very well kept.
Definitely will return but I might book an earlier tee time just to ensure I can get the round in.
great course
Always in great shape and challenging for senior golfers in distance
Good course, but did not live up to the hype. Greens in good condition, but nothing was holding so you almost had to go down a club on every approach shot. Would play again but not for the full price.
Still The Best
Quicksilver remains the best daily fee course in Western Pennsylvania. Course in excellent condition today despite yesterday's rains. Greens firm and lightning fast. Fairways well manicured, traps country club quality.
Quicksilver
The course was in perfect condition even with all the rainy weather recently. Most impressive were the conditions of the greens and tee areas. The rough was cut but still challenging. We were also impressed with the number of ground crew members working on the course to maintain the excellent conditions. The clubhouse and restaurant staff were friendly and seemed to care that our day was the best it could be. We will definitely be returning.
One of the best
Great course, visually challenging, every hole looks longer than it is, which is amazing. If your looking for a challenge this course is for you. Senior tour used to have events here, but course was too difficult for them.
A Mismanaged Mess
This course is way past it’s due date on so many levels.
A former tour course that has taken a severe beating.
70 dollars for a 5 1/2 hour round??? Why do they let huge groups of hacks go off in the morning??? If you are not a golfer you should never play here!!!
There was 2 foursomes 8 a 2 some stuck at #5 10 freaking golfs waiting to tee off!!! I have never seen this in my life!!!
The condition is overall Midlevel, fairways are beat up rough is beat up. At least the greens are still quick.
But in the ends it’s impossible to enjoy the challenge when you cannot get into a groove due to the pace of play.
Fun Course
Challenging course with decent length and tight fairways. Everything was in pretty good shape. Good value.
Great Round
First time playing quicksilver and it was great. Staff was friendly and the pace of play was excellent. My son and I had a great day.
