Enjoyed course immensely
very challenging for all types of golfers. High handicappers may find this layout long.
Barbara & Bruce Quicksilver
Quicksilver Golf Club is a great track. Located in the hills of southwest PA. The course was in excellent condition. Greens and tees were perfect. This was the first time my wife and I have played Quicksilver G.C. and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are vacationing or live in the Pittsburg area I would highly recommend you take the time to play Quicksilver G.C.

Great public golf course
We had a most enjoyable round of golf this morning! Pace of play and the course condition were excellent.
My husband forgot his golf jacket and he called the pro shop to report it. Spoke with Dave and 10 minutes later he found it and marked the schedule for a return visit next week so we can pick it up. Customer service is 5++++++++++!
Thanks for a great experience!
HURRIED TO TEE OFF
the weather was a little iffy due to rain and we were the only foursome at the course therefore we wanted to hold back on hitting our tee shots. Unfortunately we were pushed. Our consideration was overlooked.
Great buy for a Friday afternoon
Played Quicksilver on a Friday around 3:30 and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The weather was a bit chillier than I wanted, but the pace of play was great and the course was in great shape. The GolfNow deal we found made Quicksilver a steal at less than $30 for 18 holes and a cart. Really enjoyed the difficulty of the course and the scenery. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Nice course & friendly staff
Cart path only because of the weather but not their fault. They were flexible because of the forecast & we appreciated that. We timed it between radar looks and didn't get wet. it was soggy but course in good shape. Some blind shots so maybe should add some target flags out there but scoresheet helped for the doglegs. We'll go back. Thanks GolfNow.
Good Day
Nice Course in Great Condition. The only real draw back was the greens keepers didn't seem to care if you were on the course. The mowers just continued to cut knowing that you were on the tee waiting to hit. Instead of stopping and watching you, they just kept mowing. They also had the blowers out cleaning up the debris and I literally had to drive away from my ball as he was blowing grass clippings in our direction. Didn't seem to bother him at all.
Try to play later in the morning or afternoon to avoid their disruptions
Easter Sunday
Great layout, played as a single and first one out, so pace of play was great. Numerous elevated and blind tee shots with lots of doglegs. Greens were accepting but rolling true and fast, especially with the 25mph winds. Could see how the layout hosted a Senior Tour event, will likely play again when I come back to town.
February Golf
Had a great day! Course was in very good condition for Feb. 24th. Greens were challenging and the wind made it a true test. Can't wait to play here again. Employee in pro shop was great! Thanks for the water hook-up.
Long, but excellent course! Great condition for end of Feb.
First time playing course and pleasantly surprised course was in such good condition for end of Feb. Looking forward to playing in the spring/summer.
Great Value
This unique little gem set between the Steel belt capital of the world and West Virginia is s test for any handicap. This layout has tested golfers from USGA Open qualifiers, to the Senior Tours. It is a PGA Tour quality course that any golfer in this area should have on their bucket list. The layout comprises beautiful views, dangerous bunkers and great rewards for playing smart. It can and will bare is teeth if one tries the mythical miracle shot. A bogey can quickly become a snowman. Driving range is closed while roadway construction his on, but their practice green is large and has many undulations. Club house has nice locker rooms and showers. I always enjoy playing this course.
Uneven Tee Boxes
I have played over a thousand different golf courses for over twenty years. I normally give fairly good reviews for most of the courses I have played, but this course has a really serious issue with all of the tee boxes. None of the 18 tee boxes was flat and level. I am quite not sure they did that intentionally for drainage or something, but all of them were tiled forward and dome shaped. I don't understand why they could not make the tee boxes flat and level. Maybe there was no leveling tool at the time when the course was built. I would never go back to this course to play again even though the course conditions were excellent with a great course layout.
Challenging
What I Iove about this course is that it tests every part of you game no doubt top 5 course in western pa if not all of pa
Bunkers
Many well managed bunkers. Courses are also good. I specially recommend for a player who likes challenged course with many bunkers.
Bad Timing
Greens had not yet recovered from fall aeration - bumpy and slow on a very chilly morning.
Rough was long and wet - unfortunately, I was in there a lot - which slowed play as everyone searched for his ball.
Course layout is outstanding - great mix of challenges.
Staff, as always, friendly and efficient.
Still a very good challenge
I grew up in Pittsburgh before moving away in the mid 80's, and used to play this course when I was in high school. The tees, fairways and greens were in very good condition for a public course, and it remains a very strong challenge. We played in under four hours and enjoyed our day at Quicksilver.
Still The Best
No matter the season, this remains the best daily fee course within an hour of Pittsburgh. Period.
Even 48 hours after some heavy rains came through the area the greens are firm and PGA fast. The fairways are well manicured and the rough is fair but penal.
While the course used to host a Senior Tour event and an occasional US Open regional qualifier it remains more than worth your while.
