Great Golf Now Deal
Excellent early season warmer upper, Staff was very friendly. Course is always a challenge.
Great Course but Sloooow
Quicksilver was in great shape. A few challenging holes but nothing crazy. Great use of the elevation and space. However, it took us almost 7 hours to play our round. On more than one hole we had three groups of 3 or 4 gilders waiting at the tee. I understand that public courses get crowded and have a rage of handicaps and experience levels, but there was no ranger on the course do anything for pace of play. An issue that really needs to be addressed by management.
Play slow course fantastic
We went on Sunday morning and soon as we got there and paid were told we can go out a few minutes early. The starter was both friendly and helpful since it was our first time there. Paid $45 for a Sunday morning start which was a steal. The course itself was great the fairways on this course were nicer than the greens on alot of courses. The greens were perfect and play fast so you need your A putting game. Lots of sand traps to challenge you. The course is a very open course also so tons of room to make up for a mistake or two.Only complaint was play was kind of slow and there were waits from the 5th hole on but all in all still a great course at a great price
First class facility.
Everything about this course is excellent. Course was in great shape, very nice clubhouse and pro shop also. Pace of play has been very good every time I've played here. Great value for the price paid on golf now. One of the best courses in the Pittsburgh area.
sweet track...cant wait to play here again
always a pleasure to play here very well manicured
Hit 'email long
Nice course in good shape. GPS was a nice feature. Fast greens with a lot of break made putting challenging. Enjoyed the course and would play again.
This is one of the best courses in the PIT area.
I absolutley love Quicksilver. It is a challenging course and one of my favorites in the Pittsburgh area. When I saw the savings (50% per golfer), my friend and I had to jump at the opportunity.
Good course, nice condition. Bring your A game
Great value for the $42 we paid on golfnow. Not sure about the normal weekend rates. Long course that plays even longer with quick undulating greens. Fun course to play when you have your "A" game.
Great Condition. Best in Pittsburgh under $80!!
Fabulous course. The condition was fantastic. The course is pricey for an average man, but with Golfnow it is quite affordable!!
Well maintaned, good challenge, maybe a little slow playtime
Nice course...good value on golfnow...pace of play a little on the slow side... well maintained
Always best!
All courses are pretty challenging to me (handy 15).
Quicksilver, it is always best status.
Top rated public course!!!
Good course
Very hilly and scenic, greens and fairways in good condition so are the MANY bunkers. Some SLOW play in front of us other than that a good day on the links.
One of best public courses in the greater Pittsburgh area.
Quicksilver delivers a consistently high level of course condition and staff professionalism. The layout is challenging but fair and the greens putted true. Don't get above the hole on sloping greens or you will pay the price.
My only criticism was that there were work boot footprints in several bunkers in the fairways and around the greens on the back nine the morning we played. I saw a worker go into the bunker on one hole to blow loose grass clippings out of the bunker and then just leave without raking the bunker he had just walked through. I mention this because of course I ended up in a boot print in one of those bunkers.
One of my favorite courses in SW PA!!!
Some of the best par 3 holes in W PA. Fairways were in excellent shape and green were pretty fast. Great course.
One of the top ranked in western PA in my book.
Five tees to choose from. I enjoyed the relative high course rating/slope. Each hole was unique. Very fair. Hard to lose a ball. Can't wait to play again.
Overbooked.
The course is in good shape and has some interesting and challenging holes. But it was overbooked. We started off of the back and at the turn found a huge backup. There are no marshals to move things along. It seemed like they took your money, sent you out, and left you to fend for yourself with slow play, poor golf etiquette, etc. Too bad. If they correct the scheduling and pace problems, it would be a nice track to play.
Very well maintained course
It was a very well kept course, nice staff. The golf carts were really cool with gps.......
Elevated greens make for tough track
Quicksilver is an interesting course. It's always conditioned nicely, with very good greens. Almost half of the holes play to elevated greens, which makes it tough to calculate yardage. This would be the primary reason it' snot on my frequent play list.
