Challenging and Fair
Love a long course, especially when it is well-kept. Bunkers are playable. Pace of play was favorable. We’ll definitely return.
Stolen Sky Caddie
Good course but don’t leave anything in the cart or staff will take it. I left my sky caddie sx500 attached to the front windshield and drove the cart into the garage to return it. Not realizing I left my gps in it I called the next morning at 7am (we got done at 4pm) the staff said no one found it. So unless a customer went into the garage and took it that only Means the staff worker took it. Unreal people in these world.

Excellent example of how course should be!!
Even though winter conditions it was terrific.
The wind was a challenge to an already challenging course but great day.
Great golf course
One of the best in Western Pennsylvania Has a great layout difficult but fair You need to stay in Fairways greens are fast and quick and roll well the fairways are cut clean tee boxes are well taken care off it’s my absolute favorite course that I play
Overrated
I see why people like this course. The conditioning is top notch and it feels like a course capable of hosting a major event. It’s also challenging with good shot value for an above average player. That said it isn’t very approachable to a newcomer to the game or even average golfer. From the white tees the course plays very long and because the greens are steeply pitched, there is little opportunity to get close to holes. As well shorter hitters don’t really have a lot of options to run shots up while still holding the green. If you are out of position it’s bogey at best.
As an example my group had an 8 handicap that shot 83 and three 15-20s that couldn’t break 100. That speaks to the difficulty. I wouldn’t recommend this course for the average weekend player. You will leave exhausted and feeling disenchanted with the game.
the best public course that i play
love the course great layout manicured greens and fairways challenging but fair the key is stay in the fairways and out of the rough. there is water traps and challenging rolling fairways but it adds to the greatness of the course
