Mount Airy Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Mt. Airy Golf Club sprawls across lush rolling hills covered with lakes and ponds. There are also wandering streams that cut across the course. This demanding layout requires accuracy over distance with tree-lined fairways and a wildly undulating terrain. Golfers will be faced with tricky uneven lies as well as several blind shots. Water hazards also come into play on several holes. The golf course is challenging but high handicappers should not be too discouraged since it can also be quite forgiving, especially on the fairways, which offer some room for error. Mt. Airy is a demanding course, but the interesting hole designs are fun to play and the beautiful setting will make the round worth it even if your score is less than perfect.

overall nice course
a few tricked up holes, no clear targets, greens extremely slow, course was in great shape and the staff was awesome. overall a nice golf experience.wish there was a range to warm up at and if playing the first time get the yardage book a lot of blind shots and hazards.
A good course to play
This would be a good course for first year players not real difficult but some blind shots that make you think about what to do
Beautiful Course
Course was in great shape considering the harsh winter weather. Fairways/rough was immaculate; greens were in rough shape, but it is very early in the season and will definitely get better. Mount Airy definitely offers a challenge as you will need to hit every club in your bag. Great course for the money too.
Great corse
Played MT. Airy 3 week of May and found course personnel great and very friendly. Course was in great shape. Will definitely play again soon. Steve Quinn
Mount airy
It is an extremely difficult course if you have not played it many times and know the area. One of the dumbest par 5s I have ever played. It is impossible to to get there in two no matter how long you hit. It's a forced layup of like 220 which takes driver out of your hands. Second shot is like 300 plus for layup. A forced layup on a par 5 is ridiculous. Pace of play is very slow. 4 1/2 hours is a good time and you won't hit that. There are multiple holes that if you drive more than 250 you will hit thru the fairway and it doesn't look like it. They need to to let you know distances or else you are taking penalties on great shots. 18 is a reachable par 5. If your a long hitter. Course is not bad but overrated and difficult for anyone more than a 10 handicapp. A lot of very specific yardages that you would never know if you don't play there multiple times. I am a ten handicapp and shot 89
A Witness to a Hole In One
Considering the harsh winter the course was in great shape. A couple of the greens need another week or two to grow out. A challenging course with water and sand traps in places where a bad shot will end up in. Good Golf management is a must! I played with a couple of buddies and one of them hit his first Hole In One on the 168 yard 9th hole. It made his day!!! and ours!! We were the first ones out in the morning so it felt like we owned the course. The staff was very professional and helpful. I would definitely return!! Great views of the mountains, wild turkeys with the convenience of the Mt Airy casino across the street for entertainment, food, shows and lodging
Mount Airy conditions
I played 18 at Mount Airy today and prior to playing I had heard that the course was in rough shape. I found absolutely no truth in that the fairways were excellent and the greens very well maintained . For the lack of rain we've had and the snow sticking around as long as it did I found Mt Airy to be in excellent condition a d would recommend it to anyone.
Mount Airy golf course
For the end of May the course was in great shape. Fairways in excellent shape and greens a little spotty caused by long hard winter but very puttable. Tee off areas a little rough on some holes also caused by rough winter but course still very nice. Overall this course will shape up and I feel is one of the best in poconos.
Good golf for a Fair Price
The course was in great condition being that it was an extremely rough winter. The fairways and greens were above average compared to courses in the area. Overall it is a challenging course and will require you to play some good golf to shoot low. I would play it again
Greens have disease... not even playable
called ahead since we have 1 hr ride... pro shop says the greens are ok, not great, but spring condition, not aerated. this is a great course so we willing to put up with spring greens. get there to find out the greens actually have a winter disease. by the looks of them, unless there is some kind of miracle, the greens are shot until further notice. the fact that we felt deceived only compound my bad rating. the only reason i didnt give 1 star is the rest of the course was in great shape and overall this is a great course... just fix the greens and don t lie to your customers. i won t be back unitl 100% assured the greens are healthy and fast.
Great Course
First time playing the course, which made it challenging. However if you play this course more than once you will have a better understanding of layout. All and all great course that I look forward to playing again.
scenic
Great views. Impossibly difficult to score. Great casino. Wonderful time
Better than I remembered.
The course is tough and there is lots of water, dog legs, and blind shots. They no longer say which famous holes they are trying to recreate. Lawyers. But the course was in fantastic shape, and we played for $30+tax on a Sunday. It is hilly as you would expect in the Poconos, but the greens are fair. $30 was a steal.
Scenic and well maintained
Loved the course, found the conditions really good. Will play the next time I am in the area without a doubt!
Mt Airy
course is tight - played very slow and ranger was ineffective - played with wife and another couple - need another set of forward tees for women
Beautiful Course. Variety of holes.
Each hole is distinctly different. Very enjoyable to play.
tough course
I'm a beginner and found this course extremely difficult. I played with an above average golfer and he faced challenges as well. Greens are true and fast. Bunkers are more rocky and hard than sandy. no driving range
Mount Airy
Beautiful course kept in great shape. 9th hole awesome shot straight down with a beautiful view of the casino and resort in the back ground.
Tricky course
If you haven"t played this course before don"t be afraid to ride up and look over that hill. There could be trouble.
