Not Bad!
First time playing and the course was fairly nice. Fairways are in shape, rough is a little challenging and long. The greens were a bit bumpy but nothing too bad. Overall we had a good time and I would return here and there, especially at lower rates. Compared to the area I’d say I’d feel good paying $40-45 for a round and would definitely be playing around the $35 mark
Green is not playable
I used to play this course a lot and I really like the layout.
But recently when I played here and found the grass on the green is dying and not playable. The green condition becomes worse and worse.
Solid
Bunkers needed work but it's a solid golf course with a tricky (at times) but nice layout. Greens were slow but ran true (probably from all the rain we've gotten in the last week or so). I'd definitely play there again, it was suprising that the bunkers were matted down and not raked at all on a saturday afternoon but again, I'll give them some grace due to all the rain. Solid course overall.
This course is ok
Very friendly staff and the greens fee lined up fairly with the quality of the course which was so-so. Greens were shaggy and slow but in good condition. Fairways fine. Teeboxes pretty shaggy and beat up. The bunkers were bad. In general the infrastructure was rough - cart paths badly cracked and buckling, bridges buckling.
False Advertising
I booked this round through the Golf Now app for $45 per person. When we arrived at the course, we were notified the round would actually be $69 per person because of the holiday. We don’t play this course because it’s the nicest in the area. We play it because it’s normally a good deal at around $45. What’s the point of booking on Golf Now for a rate if they can change it arbitrarily in the clubhouse?
Great experience
Course was in great shape. Staff friendly. Although not very long, plenty of shots to think through.
The Course Charged me more than my GolfNow reservation
I booked an 11:40 tee time for myself and three friends. Golfnow quoted me a price of $45 per player, which is a fair price for the type of course we were playing. I arrived at the clubhouse to pay our green fees and they told us that GolfNow had it wrong and it wasn't $45, it was $69. They wouldn't let us play without paying their asking price. What are we supposed to do?
I don't know if this is a GolfNow issue or a Golf Club issue but my friends and I are out almost $100 for a round of golf. Not good business and I hope to get compensated for it.
Buyer beware.
Challenging.
Great layout and quite challenging. Not perfect looking, but good playing conditions. They need to teach golfers how to replace a divot. Repaired at least 3 every green. Fun and definitely would play again. No driving range is the only bad thing I can say.
Nice Course! I’ll play it again!
Good layout, condition and pace of play. While visiting NC for US Open, I got to play this course. My tee time was 7am on Saturday and I really enjoyed it. The first few holes look directly at the sun but other than that, this is a good course. I’ll be back.
Staff was great, course not so much
The greens are in good shape but rolling at a 6-7. Tee boxes, fairways, and traps were in bad shape. Not what I expect for a $70 a player course. The staff especially the girl in the clubhouse were very friendly and helpful!
nice course
It was the first time playing this course so we had to figure it out as we went. No GPS on the cart but I had 18 birdies on my phone which helped. We got stuck behind some real slow groups ahead of us so it was hard to get in a rhythm. We had to wait at many of the T boxes.Fairways were quite hard since there has been little rain lately and not sure if they have irrigation on the fairways.
Overall it was a fun course
