The Inn At Pocono Manor - East Course
About
The Inn at Pocono Manor offers two championship golf courses, conveniently located less than two hours from New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Surrounded by the beauty of the Poconos, the inn has earned a spot on the National Registry of Historic Places. George Fazio designed the West Course, and the East Course was Donald Ross' creation. The East Course, the original layout, has hosted a number of legendary players, including Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead, since 1912. Ross carefully sculpted the mountainous landscape to create a course that is both challenging and memorable. It is shorter and tighter than the other course but they are equal in level of difficulty. The golf course is defined by the interesting water hazards that come into play on several holes, but the scenic views are also a draw.

decent course
Found this course while in the area. played as a single and was able to play through a foursome. A few of the holes are somewhat of a challenge. Little nats where around the whole course. Also at Mount Airy, Pa course while playing there. Decent course
Tees and greens were awsome late summer fairways were what you would expect if they are not putting tons of water on them.it was my first time playing here they gave us a very helpful cheat sheet at the pro shop
Pocono Manor East
Challenging fairways with smallish greens. Was a fun course to play
nice course
the course is in good cond. but the play was very very slow so after the thunder and 14 holes played and 5 hours we quite.
Nice Layout
First time playing this course and really enjoyed it. Big downside was pace of play, almost 5 hours. No starter and several twosomes went out by themselves and didn’t hook up together, even when waiting on same tee box. Cart paths are in terrible shape, drove on the grass as much as possible. Will probably play here again if I can get a hot deal.
The entire staff is great starting with the gentleman in the pro shop the starter, the course ranger and the cart ladies. Excellent layout and golf course conditions. One of the best golf courses around
Many holes cannot see players ahead or flag as rolling hills. Fairways are hard surface so ball rolls alot and because of slope alot of time will roll into long grass/under brush on edge of nearly all holes. Lost many golf balls and very frustraiting. Basically ball comes off fairway you will loose it
Great shape
Course is in great shape.
Greens,are very nice.
19th hole was very good for food and drink.
Slow play... no ranger to speed up play Five hour round
5:20
Took 5 hours and 20 minutes. Never saw a ranger. Nothing good can be said for that.
Hidden Gem
Course is well guarded by trees. Even thiugh a windy day trees protected the fairways.
View from Tee#5 best in the Poconos. (i’ve played most of them)
Fun course. Plays long needs another set of Tees for the Shorter hitter/higher handicap golfer.
Would speed up play and make course more enjoyable for wider range of golfers.
This is a must - Put in tees for under 5200 yards.
Have played this course before and felt that in-spite of our rain that is above average for this year the course was in good shape. Had fun
