The Inn At Pocono Manor - East Course
About
The Inn at Pocono Manor offers two championship golf courses, conveniently located less than two hours from New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Surrounded by the beauty of the Poconos, the inn has earned a spot on the National Registry of Historic Places. George Fazio designed the West Course, and the East Course was Donald Ross' creation. The East Course, the original layout, has hosted a number of legendary players, including Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead, since 1912. Ross carefully sculpted the mountainous landscape to create a course that is both challenging and memorable. It is shorter and tighter than the other course but they are equal in level of difficulty. The golf course is defined by the interesting water hazards that come into play on several holes, but the scenic views are also a draw.

Clouds were gathering... Photo submitted by Lendisa on 09/10/2017
give it 3 weeks
Course was in good shape for early in the season. will be in beautiful shape in 2 weeks if the weather cooperates. definitely will play course again
NICE COURSE
1st time playing this season...Pocono Manor had the course well prepared for the new season. Fairways were mostly clean...except for a few wet areas from the constant rainy weather, and most greens were in pretty good condition this early in the season.
First round
Have played this track many times. Course was not yet ready for prime time, especially the greens. Tee boxes in good shape, most fairways were good but some were soggy with ruts. Biggest issue was greens, which in fact were not green! Course was playable but putting a challenge. In a few weeks this course will be in tip-top shape. Enjoyable first 2019 round,
fall conditions
6 really good holes
8 good holes
4 forgettable holes
.tight fairways. multiple swampy areas from poor drainage. probably a better course in the summer
Fast rolled greens
Due to the rain this year , course was wet but well taken care of ruff fairways and greens. $30 deal on a Sunday 9am was a steal and the 4 hr round to watch nfl football for 1pm was a bonus along with $1 draft beer with proof of score card at the bar.
Played 5900 yards
Fun course. Good variety of holes. I’m a 17 handicap and 73 years old. Great course for us older guys. Greens were slow and varied in speed. The rest of the course was good. All in all it was a fun experience.
course was a little challenging, especially for a first timer at this course. well maintained with few hazards
Great Course and Great Staff
After Berto the super friendly starter got me ready to go out, he came and played with me. Awesome guy. Course was in great shape. I play plenty of courses in the Poconos and surrounding areas and this was in the best shape of all of them outside of Buck Hill. Would definitely recommend this course and will definitely be going back!!! If you get a chance to play it you should
Returningplayer
Course conditions were great. Staff friendly. Pace was good, even saw a warden (outstanding). A must play course.
Not easy
Very nice course lots of blind shots but if you follow the little cheat sheet they have it will help for the money it's well worth it we will definitely play again like any of the course want to play at once you remember all the holes
Nature abounds, scenic views
Course was in good condition, some blind drives need to drive up and make sure you not hitting into people. Challenging course. I enjoyed the course and thought it was a great value.
High point
Well the round took forever ,I only played 11 holes .pace so slow. Got a drink from bar ,she fished out a bug from glass. No food only sandwiches which had multiple stickers on it ,meaning very old.some nerve selling that crap. Never again play there and I'm an avid golfer
Only Once
Some strange holes here with plenty of blind T shots.
Even a down hill par 3 that you can't see the green. Look out for the rocks in the rough. I did like all the inverted grass bunkers. And I really enjoyed the Donald Ross greens.
