This wasn't even the worst one, but I still lost a ball in this "water hazard" Photo submitted by ADonofrio on 12/04/2020

Hole-in-one!!!! Photo submitted by tanong on 04/23/2013
This course needs a haircut and less leaves in the fairway
This course took my ball many times in the fairway. The leaves were too plentiful and would hide the ball on one side. It was cart path only even though it hadn't rained in a month and it is reported that we are currently in a drought. The rough was rough deeper than the ball could be seen unless you were lucky to walk over it. I lost more balls that round than most of the season.
5 hour round, no on course staff to speed up pace, poor value.
Cons of playing on Sunday around noon:
a 5 hour round,
the cart barking at you for slow pace but it's the groups of members ahead of you playing super slowly.,
Extra fees for paying with a credit card, over $9 for a very basic hot dog and a bottled soda at the turn.
Dormant Bermuda fairways and just the lack of staff getting the pace moving along will all deter me from going to etowah again.
Greens were in great shape, some sand traps were well maintained while a dozen were in some sort of transition between being rough grass traps, refurbished or removed entirely. Carts were new last year, paths still pretty rough.
Wasn't worth $60 in March of 2026.
Nice Place
I was playing solo, but two groups left me play through It was a little dry but when this thing cuts loose, it’s gonna be gorgeous..
When the Bermuda grass greens up in a few weeks should be very nice.
Sunday golfing
Finally was warm enough to get up and play 18 holes had a good time. Greens were in good condition.
Great Weekend Course in the Winter
Played there on vacation from Florida - It was windy and cold but the course played great. Greens were in good shape, Almost no water to worry about. I would play it again (and we did!)
Nice day.
For the price, worth the time. Course was wet, so cart path only. Not surprising with all the recent rain. Greens in good shape. They are working on some of the tee boxes. Weather was perfect!
Great course!
Beautiful, challenging course. Greens were in great shape and frequently protected by large bunkers adding to the challenge. Great value and beautiful scenery on the back 9.
Not the best, not the worst
Pluses: not a bad layout, greens and fairways in decent shape, carts had gps, good practice area, front 9 pace of play good. Minuses: anything not on the fairways and greens was way too long and almost impossible to escape, most bunkers unplayable maybe still from hurricane last year, cart paths rugged also maybe unrepaired since storm, pace of play on back 9 unacceptable going from 9 to 10 several new groups were waiting on the tee box.:
Course in great shape right now
Some of the best greens I have played on all year! Fairways in good shape. Only thing that needs attention are a few bunkers and GUR. Got the hot deal, which made it worth it. Paying full price ($70) on a Friday would feel steep, but it's not out of line based on othe local prices.
