Etowah Valley Golf Club

Etowah is a great course to play. Very friendly staff. Well maintained and fun. Pace of play there is just right. As a beginning golfer I never felt rushed or pushed.

The weather turned out great and the course is in good condition. Greens and fairways are nice.the only negative is there are several traps playing as ground under repair and have been like that for a long time.

Course has come a long way since Hurricane Helene. Staff is outstanding and course layout is great to play.

Great track, offers various distances for tee boxes and great opportunities to score well.

Its a unique tract that used to be 27 holes but they recently sold off 9 for some development... Slowly fixing and repairing the remaining holes. Greens and teeboxes were in really good shape but some fairways and bunkers need some work along with cart paths on the back 9 (old West course). Staff are always great from clubshop to bar to cart handlers. Hopeful with the recent land sales they can polish up the place and bring it up a notch.

The course is in great condition, especially after Helene. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Highly recommend

Course is in really good shape from tee to green. Hated to see that they closed one of the 9 hole courses. Pace of play today was not great, but you get what you get on the weekends. The gentlemen in the pro shop were great. Really good experience overall.

If you can get on this course for $50 or less, definitely do it. They have had damage from the hurricane and the fairways, fairway bunkers, and some green side bunkers are obviously under some sort of renovation, but the course is 100% playable and the greens were very well maintained.

Weather was a little damp, but course conditions were excellent.

Having played here some over the years, I would have to say that it is not the same as it used to be but not necessarily a bad thing. They have gone from 27 to 18 holes and some of the old buildings could use some sprucing up. The existing 18 holes, though, was in good shape. Lots of good thick grass in the fairways and the greens rolled very nicely. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

We played at a discounted rate through GolfNow but I would say it’s a very good value, regardless. Highly recommend!

Due to several high schools participating in a regional tournament the pace of play was very slow. Totally understandable but tie times should have been adjusted!
