Duck Hollow Golf Club

Although the front nine was closed for major maintenance, the back nine was in great shape. I was invited to tee off ahead of what looked like a 16-member Men’s League and had no problem in finishing two rounds on the back in under two and a half hours. All in all, the fairways were mowed evenly, the bunkers played well and the greens were cut tight and rolled true. A great job by the grounds crew and I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you!!!

What a really nice coarse and friendly staff. At first sight everything seems pretty normal but I was completely impressed that many of the holes posed a challenge along with some beautiful scenic views. I will definitely recommend this coarse and can't wait to go back again.

Very hilly. About 70% tee to green. Greens probably best part.

The 2 female employees I encountered were spectacular. I read reviews about players here and agree.I had a 7:30 am. Was told I could go off anytime I’m ready. . Met 2 players at tee with the 7:20. Wasn’t asked to play with or go ahead.. Noticed players going off the 10th tee. Why,?? I guess because they could. Knew this was going to be a problem at the turn. Got to 10 tee, 3 sets of players with concert tee shirts waiting to go. I blew off the 10th hole. Ran into a single player walking on 14. On 16, Was waived up by the player walking, as I also was a single. I tried to waive him off as I was in no hurry and I felt I wasn’t pressuring him at all. Then he says he doesn’t like being chased. I told him I didn’t want to come up but you seemed to insist. “ Yet here we are. “ You called me up buddy. I was fine. Anyway.

Played here because the early time and I was traveling. With the hot deal and tee time credits, I practically paid nothing. I’m a believer in playing anyplace once. I’m done here.

Expect people to be in your fairway on every hole paying no attention to.what your doing. Let alone the 5+hr round when your a 2some and you tee of at 740. People go off the back. Patrons asking if they can play through when you played the front in an hr 20...they asked while my playing partner was addressing the ball on the tee. When it was clearly the blue jean dannie 4some who teed off the back are the hold up. Just awful inept golfers. Will never go back to Duck hollow!

This course isn’t bad if you’re going out to have a good time with friends or family just to have a good time.

I liked the greens and the different layout to the course. But the pace of play is beyond slow. Just be aware of that when you book a tee time. Also, make sure you have correct yardages etc. You will need them to keep on the course.

Great place to play golf. Many scoreable par 4s. Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes were in pretty good shape. Very few wet spots after solid day of rain the day before. Cart paths definitely need work.

Last time a played here. There were some reno's happening. So I didn't judge to harshly. This go round was almost perfect. The course was in great shape. Pace was good. I even had a group offer me to play thru. And that's almost nonexistent anymore. Staff was awesome. Golf cart was old and seen better days. But if that'd my only gripe! We're ok! Its worth the trip out there from Tahn.
