Tiring
Generally only play this course once per year and it is a great course for the money, but can also be tiring. The undulations of some of the greens are quite frankly ridiculous for the amount of slope this course has.
really fun and challenging
The course is in really great shape, fringes,, greens and approaches were pristine. Doglegs, water, elevation changes all blend to make each hole fun to play. This is my 50 th year playing and this is a really good course. Some cart paths need some work but I'd rather have the great course conditions.
Cindy and the whole staff were great. Go play this gem and enjoy the day!
This course requires good shot-making skills and accurate shot placement!
Liked the course but it needs better cart paths, fairway definition, and aesthetics. Overall great layout and could be a superior course with a few corrections and additions. All -in-all, a great bang for the buck!
This course was in good shape and for the money was a great find!
The course was in good shape, nice tee boxes, fairways and greens. For an average golfer, mid-handicap, a great little short.
Tricky but not hokey
Fantastic scenery Some great holes. Overall well maintained Features a little of everything. Keep it in the fairway. We're told the greens needed a bounce short and roll approach, but the greens held every shot!
Best course around
The staff was very friendly and they obviously take pride in keeping their golf course in good shape. We will be back next time we are in the area, for sure.
nice greens rolled smooth and true.
course for this time of year was in good shape except for all the leaves. slow play up quite a bit. besides that the greens were nice and quick and really nice for being november. besides the leaves, it is worth playing right now.
This course has great putting greens
This great value course has everything for all golfers. Fast and true greens are the best feature. Scenery is great. Fairways are kept cut and in great shape. Would play and take friends with no hesitation.
This course is always challenging from the blue tees.
Duck Hollow is always challenging from the blue tees. Almost every hole has trouble to the right or left as the entire course is flanked by trees. The staff always treats you right and the starters are friendly. There is a great restaurant there called "Bogey's" which is a great value for the quality of the food. I live in the area and always enjoy Duck Hollow. It also serves as the home course for some of the local High School teams. George Laskey is the Gm and is always welcoming to you when you come to play or eat at Bogeys. I was golfing last year when my cart quit working and George had someone come out to my location within 5 minutes. Not only did they switch out carts but the young man switched the clubs out and asked if he could do anything else for us.
