Honey Run Golf Club

First time I ever played here. The course has a good layout, it makes you hit everything in your bag. Loved the greens, very fast!

Our tee time was 208 pm, we were there 45 mins before and hit the putting green. No one was teeing off but a bunch of people were at the putting green. Finally after ten minutes a group of 8 tees off. Than a group that was suppose to tee off at 120 decides to show up late and tee off. Even though every one else was there to go at there times. The course ranger would not allow anyone to start on the back nine. Well we finally got to tee off at 230 and 6 hours later we got done. There was no ranger there directing tee offs, it will be awhile till I go there again. Nice course and we'll kept.

Honey Run is a fun, sometimes challenging course kept in great shape.

I still think this course is overpriced. I would only play there by getting a deal as there are many other courses of similar quality in the area. If I had to pay regular price, I would go somewhere else.

Best greens we have played all year. Nice speed and very smooth rolling.

Course was in good condition for most part. Still wet and muddy near water hazards and some valleys. Unique course. It has many elevation changes and no 2 holes are the same. Counter staff was friendly on this day. Staff on other days seem in different. Overall one of areas best public courses.

Definitely worth the trip to the west end of York for agreat golf experience. Nice practice range and putting green. Very scenic layout with huge undulating greens protected by well maintained bunkers. Large 19th hole lounge and outside patio.

Had to get a rain check after 9 holes took almost 3 hours. Conditions were wet too.

Traps need sand. Greens were good condition but to many ball marks going unfixed. More yardage help on course ie sprinkler heads, would be helpful. Overall condition very good staff very friendly and helpful.

The sand traps are in need of sand on almost every hole most times its like hitting out of dirt or dirt and sand mix

Greens are always well mantain. Challenging layout but fun!

the pace of play was horrible. They got the tee times too close together which causes you to tee off late to begin with and they had a ranger out but that didnt help at all. 5 hour round was too long.

This course is very nice and each hole is different creating a challenging day of golf that makes you work for your low score. Staff is very friendly and they are able to take care of your needs.

Great course. We weren't backed up much because we had 4 some, although there was 4 carts waiting behind us at 1st tee box. Course conditions were ok. Can't ask for pristine conditions in march. Pro shop should sell more stuff. Needed a divot tool and small ball marker. Didn't have either. Made do with a quarter. They also have great coolers for drinks on the course.

Course is not easy for the average player but if you stay in the fairway your chances of breaking 80 increase. Beautiful greens.

Well !!, I played this course back in the spring of 2013, I couldn't wait for another opportunity to play it again. Quite challenging, the beauty all around you. In my opinion the course is in great shape. Tee box's are nice and level, and the greens are in great shape. I'am looking forward to playing there again in the near future so long as the weather holds up.

This course was better than when I last played it a few years ago. The bunkers have been refreshed with some softer sand. The greens were super fast in comparison to other public courses in the area. Pace of play was great, probably because we snuck in right after a tournament finished (I recall people tend to struggle to a 5-hour round here).
