Great conditions but the pace of play was terrible no starter when we teed off around 1pm. This created a lot of chaos with groups on top of each other.

I play this course 10-12 times a year. It is a great course and a moderately difficult layout. There are 2 par 3's that I feel are the hardest around. It is a great course and is usually in great condition.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The driving range is pretty good but crowded at times.

There is an issue with letting too many people out without time between them. Pace of play can be a challenge.

I grew up on this course but had not been for a number of years. It has mantained it's good conditions over the years. Staff was very friendly and we teed off right on schedule. A nice change for me was the addition of another set of tees, because the previous white tees at 6700 yards were just too long for me now. Greens hold well but most holes you can bounce the ball up

Course was good except for traps I was in one that had big rocks in it

My wife and I were going to Newport for a couple of days and wanted to get a round of golf in so we hopped on Golf Now and found Green Valley. As always the online booking process was painless. The reviews were favorable so we expected a positive experience and we weren't disappointed. The staff was friendly and the course was in great shape. The front 9 is pretty open and the back becomes a bit tighter with a few nicer looks. The greens rolled well and the elevation changes gave the course a really nice feel. It is a fairly long course but we were able to walk it in 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon. I plan to play this course anytime I come to the Newport area. Overall it is a great course and excellent value for the money.

Second round of our New England golf adventure. Nice course with some interesting holes. Staff was great, as there was an issue with some equipment on the course, and schedules had to change a bit. Was lucky that equipment was fixed in time for us to complete our round. Recommended to try this course.

Nice layout, you can take a nap though in between holes... over a 5 hour round

I enjoy playing this course and play there as often as I can. The course is well maintained, fairways are challenging and fun to play.

The course is a good layout. The bunkers come into play on many holes, but I say bunkers rather than sand traps because they only have about an inch of sand in them. More sand would improve my rating.

The starter let a 5 some on In front of us. We waited everyhole for the back 9

While not an overly challenging course, the open layout makes for a forgiving and fun round. It was in great shape when we played in May, and we had almost no trouble the entire round. The back-to-back par 3's on the back nine are inconvenient, and the pace of play can slow down there. Otherwise, the par 3 over the pond on the front nine is very nice and the 18th has a great shot up the final fairway to the green and clubhouse. Definitely worth a look if you're on the island and looking to get on a course.

The course is in great shape.the staff was great and very helpful full.the food was very good the steak sandwich was worth the money witch was not a lot I would play again

Great course... GREENs are great.... 12 th hole the BEST..!!! If u looking for a New course to play... Give GV a try ... Great lay out... Play a pro distance par 3....11 th 230 from back blue tees....
