Great course to enjoy a fun round of golf
A favorite course to play most of the time. A marshal should make sure the groups are just behind the group in front of them and not just ahead of the group behind them. Too often a busy course lets 2 slow groups hold everyone up and not have a nice pace of play. Let the slow players enjoy their round and allow faster players to play though. Too often members feel they are entitled to play slow and not care about having an empty hole or 2 ahead of them since they pay a monthly fee, and the course feels that they will lose their business if they say anything to them. If the course is very busy with play, then they should not feel bad if they lose the turtles, the course should view the fact that they could lose NEW members due to the turtles thinking they are the only ones on the course and not be considerate to potential new members.
Great Course
We play Links O' Tryon frequently but hadn't been there since last year. Course is in great shape. Enjoyed our round!

Nice for the beginning of the season.
Course is in pretty good shape. 1 green is shut down for repairs. The other greens are ok a few had some weeds. Fairways and tee boxes were good. It Should be in better shape soon but it’s still a great value. I love the layout and the views.

Links O'Tryon Perfect Golf Day
I played Links O'Tryon for the first time this season. What an absolute fun round. The weather was perfect, pace of play was great and the course was in good shape for this time of the year. Looking forward to playing there again.

Hole #10
Two groups ahead of me had three players. The group ahead of me had three players. Our group waited 18 minutes to tee off. That is unacceptable. After we hit on the 10th hole I noticed 8 golfers waiting to tee off as we drove off to hit our next ball. That is ridiculous.

Would give it five stars, but there was one Green that had a lot of crabgrass in it but other than that it was a great course. I’m just being picky. definitely would recommend playing it to anyone , great layout

Spring golf
The course is still recovering from winter temperatures, but was very enjoyable to play. I wish I played better. Not an easy course that's for sure. Will be back.

It’s good
It’s an overall nice course, if you’ve played willow creek it will feel similar(same designer) but it’s much shorter. Even from the tips it’s less than 7k yards. Can be a challenge if your driver isn’t going straight but if you’re a big hitter then you can just bomb it. Overall a great course for the price and the people who play there are really nice.

Great value
Links O Tryon is a great value for golf in the upstate. It’s a fair course, the greens are in decent shape. The biggest negative are the tee boxes. Some of them are just dirt! O grass anywhere.
I’d like to see some attention to the Tee boxes. Other than that. For the money, it’s my favorite course.
