Nice course with alot of different challenges. Definitely one of my favorites in the area.

Pros - layout and friendly staff.

Cons - Still have temp green for #5.

Greens super slow due to recent aeration.

Wish golf now would have aeration warning. Feel round was overpriced for conditions.

The course is in good shape with the exception of green #5 which has a temporary green in place. Fairways, greens and most tee boxes are in good shape.

Beware of the cart paths though! They can rattle your teeth if you're not paying attention.

Have not played here in a couple years. Enjoyable course. Temporary green on hole 5 but no problem—that green always seems to have issues. At the turn as a single got behind a foursome that refused to acknowledge I was there, much less let me play through. Caution—on 17 play to the left side of the left fairway unless you can hit it over/around the trees directly in front of you. I hit an iron to the middle of the fairway & ball was gone—there is an unseen drainage/steep depression area middle & right towards the end of the left fairway I had to have kicked ob from….cost me a double bogey. Oh well 73 from the blues isn’t bad.

Pace of play was ok. At 11:30 you're looking at a 4 hour round no matter what at LOT. Course is in good shape. Greens roll consistent, fairways are well maintained. One area that needs work are the bunkers, looks like they just backed up a truck and dumped sand in several of them. Good practice area. Staff is cordial, Starter helpful. Played it 2x in the last month and paired up with other "hot time" golfers.

Here's some unsolicited advice for other golf now users, quit giving unsolicited advice to strangers. We don't need it standing over a 6 foot putt. We need you to be quiet, say nice putt when it drops and nothing when it misses by 3 feet. And for the love of all things golf, never offer to allow me to "just drop up there with me" if I hit a wayward shot. I don't need pity, charity or anything else. I'll hit my penalty shot and move on. I hope this review has made someone smile.

Links O’Tryon is a great layout. It is such a fun course to play. The course offers a good variety of shots that will challenge every level of golfer.

The course was in great shape. Ready to see that one green on the front 9 under repair finished. Seemed like a big chunk of the holes face west so better to play in the first half of the day. Fantastic course though!

With a Hot Deal and a coupon from GolfPass a friend and I rode 18 for $22 each. This course is a great bargain and has some really nice views as well. The greens were a little slow, but the guy in the pro shop said they’re waiting to cut them as the weather gets a little warmer. There’s a temporary green on number five and the only other downfall was that, some members jumped ahead of us before we teed off but in the end, they didn’t hold us up at all. I really recommend the course.

While the course was not in the best of shape and was never told that they had a temporary green on one hole because of damage to one of their greens, the course itself was not bad. I would recommend anyone to go there and play..

On the second note, we received a call about an emergency with our mother and had to play only five holes. Went inside to check about a rain check and was told that we had a contact GolfNow. I tried and was never able to. Feel like I lost 50 some dollars, not happy
