Links O'Tryon

Links O’Tryon is a great layout. It is such a fun course to play. The course offers a good variety of shots that will challenge every level of golfer.

Links O’Tryon is the best value in the greater Greenville & Spartanburg area.

The course was in great shape. Ready to see that one green on the front 9 under repair finished. Seemed like a big chunk of the holes face west so better to play in the first half of the day. Fantastic course though!

With a Hot Deal and a coupon from GolfPass a friend and I rode 18 for $22 each. This course is a great bargain and has some really nice views as well. The greens were a little slow, but the guy in the pro shop said they’re waiting to cut them as the weather gets a little warmer. There’s a temporary green on number five and the only other downfall was that, some members jumped ahead of us before we teed off but in the end, they didn’t hold us up at all. I really recommend the course.

While the course was not in the best of shape and was never told that they had a temporary green on one hole because of damage to one of their greens, the course itself was not bad. I would recommend anyone to go there and play..

On the second note, we received a call about an emergency with our mother and had to play only five holes. Went inside to check about a rain check and was told that we had a contact GolfNow. I tried and was never able to. Feel like I lost 50 some dollars, not happy

Good course, great value, the pace was good but before we were putting on the first hole the starter allowed another group to start right behind us, this was an aggravation all day as the group behind us were usually hitting up close to us while on the green, but were not fast enough to allow them to play through. Our pace was fine as we played 18 in under 4 hours (foursome).

A favorite course to play most of the time. A marshal should make sure the groups are just behind the group in front of them and not just ahead of the group behind them. Too often a busy course lets 2 slow groups hold everyone up and not have a nice pace of play. Let the slow players enjoy their round and allow faster players to play though. Too often members feel they are entitled to play slow and not care about having an empty hole or 2 ahead of them since they pay a monthly fee, and the course feels that they will lose their business if they say anything to them. If the course is very busy with play, then they should not feel bad if they lose the turtles, the course should view the fact that they could lose NEW members due to the turtles thinking they are the only ones on the course and not be considerate to potential new members.

We play Links O' Tryon frequently but hadn't been there since last year. Course is in great shape. Enjoyed our round!

Course is in pretty good shape. 1 green is shut down for repairs. The other greens are ok a few had some weeds. Fairways and tee boxes were good. It Should be in better shape soon but it’s still a great value. I love the layout and the views.

I played Links O'Tryon for the first time this season. What an absolute fun round. The weather was perfect, pace of play was great and the course was in good shape for this time of the year. Looking forward to playing there again.
