Village Greens Golf & Country Club
About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING GOLF COURSE
I PLAYED VILLAGE GREEN CC FOR THE FIRST TIME YESTERDAY. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME ON A COURSE SINCE 2010 AND MY 9YRD SONS FIRST TIME EVER. THE COURSE AND THE CULTURE THERE WAS FAMILY AND FRIENDLY. AMAZING FIRST FATHER SON GOLF OUTING. THE COURSE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND GREAT TO PLAY. THE YOUNG MAN IN THE PRO SHOP WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY WHICH YOU DONT SEE AT ALOT OF COURSES. THIS IS NOW MY NEW HOME COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!
Friendly Staff
First time booking through Golf Now but it was effortless and a smooth transition. Village Green was and is still a premier course in the upstate! Staff is always friendly!
Lies and un accommodation
Had an additional guy in our group that just came off gallbladder surgery the previous week. He wanted to rent a cart just to ride the round w/us. We were told that there were not enough carts to do that. At tee off, we counted 25 carts. On the turn, we counted 20 carts. At the end of the round(4:00 pm), there were 35 carts. On top of that, the group directly in front of us had four players using three carts(No apparent health issues). For over 40 years, I’ve played here, entertained clients here and held tournaments here. That’s all over now(and for the whole group yesterday).Being lied to is one thing. The lack of compassion and common sense is completely unacceptable. Hopefully, the staff picks up on these two traits before it’s too late. So long after over four decades. Too many other places to play that show empathy and common sense to come back here. A ruined round for no reason. Something is amiss w/this place for whatever reason.
FUN COURSE
Bar Staff could use an attitude adjustment. Act as if they would rather be anywhere else than waiting on the players. I would spend two-three time the money if they actually cared about their job, making the golfers happy with their service. Great facility but service STINKS!!!
February golf
Greens rolled nicely. Fairways pretty good for this time of the year. Lots of slopes and hills. Need a better finishing hole
Village Greens
Great value for the money
Had rained heavily 2 days prior so was cart path only and some wet areas
Friendly folks at the pro shop and starter was very nice
Wish it were closer
One of my favorite courses. Overall good layout, couple of holes with limited options and no outs. Course is always in good shape with a great grill and really good value. Wish the driving range and practice putting green were less severely sloped.
Hootie review
Entering the pro shop I’m was. Welcomed and felt the professional and courteous from staff. Starting Marshall was great as well.
Nice course
First time playing here, great layout, the course was full and it took 4:45 to play. I will be back.
Rude staff
The guy at the desk is a total jerk. Very rude to our group..I doubt I’ll be back for a long time. Not friendly at all we wanted to tee off early, jerk said no there’s two groups in front of us…nope there weren’t. Just a guy being a rude person.nothing like it used to be there..
Hidden gem in upstate South Carolina
Village Greens is one of the best public courses in the upstate. The Greens roll fast and true, great driving range great food. The course is scoreable, but also provides some level of difficulty. It’s one I frequent because the price is so reasonable and the course is always in great shape.
Perfect Day
Other than having to wait at every hole, the day was perfect, the course was in great shape.
Nice course
Got the tee time through hot deals and got paired with 2 other players who were really nice. The course was in great shape, we got caught in a heavy shower but the course drained well a didn’t really affect our round. Good pace of play even with the rain got finished in under 4 hours.
Great Course
Viilage Green continues to make beautiful
changes to its golf course. Fun and challenging course to play.
