Village Greens Golf & Country Club
About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Rude staff
The guy at the desk is a total jerk. Very rude to our group..I doubt I’ll be back for a long time. Not friendly at all we wanted to tee off early, jerk said no there’s two groups in front of us…nope there weren’t. Just a guy being a rude person.nothing like it used to be there..
Hidden gem in upstate South Carolina
Village Greens is one of the best public courses in the upstate. The Greens roll fast and true, great driving range great food. The course is scoreable, but also provides some level of difficulty. It’s one I frequent because the price is so reasonable and the course is always in great shape.
Perfect Day
Other than having to wait at every hole, the day was perfect, the course was in great shape.
Nice course
Got the tee time through hot deals and got paired with 2 other players who were really nice. The course was in great shape, we got caught in a heavy shower but the course drained well a didn’t really affect our round. Good pace of play even with the rain got finished in under 4 hours.
Great Course
Viilage Green continues to make beautiful
changes to its golf course. Fun and challenging course to play.
Great staff
The staff is extremely professional and friendly. Very good design and in good shape. Plus it's an easy course to walk.
Place of play
Good course. But absolutely expect a 5 hour round on the weekend
Not To Good
The course was 7/10 due to rain but the green were not in great shape. Not to mention they closed the driving range down for what reason I have no idea. No warm up was not good
A break in the weather
It had rained for the prior 5 days before our round, but the course was not overly saturated. The greens were great, but the bunkers had a few puddles, and it was still a great day. I will be back
Village Green
Course was in great shape, pace of play could have been better, but overall I enjoyed the round
Really a friendly place!!!
Great layout. Was paired with some really cool dudes and truly enjoyed the day.
The pace of play was a serious problem and they need to have a Marshall working on that, but everything else was great.
Just a really friendly place!!
Improving
hadn’t played here in about five years. They are putting a lot of money into the course. They are completely repaving all the cart paths. So what was done was great where it was torn up. It was like four wheeling, but that did not affect the golf course was in good condition. Greens were just sanded which always makes putting a challenge. I will be back again.
Slowest Round EVER!
Told that there were 273 players booked. My response - ‘so you WILL have a ranger out there checking pace of play?’ ‘NO!’ was the response!
3 hour first 9…..same as the last time I played there!
Mind boggles really….
