Its not terrible.
Challenging holes. Unique layoits. Could use some manecuring.
Nice for the price!
Greens are in really good shape. Most fairways are as well. Just gotta deal with what you get in some places on the course. Overall, great place to play especially for the price, and they have 27 full holes. Cash only snack bar but worth it. Good dogs and sweet tea.
Cheap but not worth it sadly.
The pro shop guy was nice but the course was in terrible shape. Most of the tee boxes are dirt, the bunkers are dirt and not sand. The layout is very prone to miss hits and is dangerous. Don’t drive the cart path if you have a bad back, you will need surgery.
The biggest complaint was no one was checking pace of play. It took 5+ hours to play 18 holes.
I hate to leave a bad review and the course has potential but needs some TLC and investing.
Pro: there was a grass driving range and SC is always warmer than the surrounding areas.
Great place to read greens. Long hits.
Peaceful and great for long straight games.
There are some dog lefts but better practice not to crack it off the planet
Hot Deal
Golf course was in good shape for this time of year. Also, staff did a good job getting all the trees cleaned up after hurricane.
Great Value and Customer Service
If you golf for fun and are a rookie and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a course that serves all of your basic golf needs, this is the place! The Pro Shop gentlemen was really nice and understanding of us being brand new to Golf!
Run away…worst course ever!
Tee boxes were absolutely atrocious as well as the greens, fairways and overall course. Staff was friendly, though won’t be returning. We had a 6-some in front of us…mentioned to the Ranger that came by and he shrugged his shoulders. Pace of play wasn’t managed, drainage is a huge issue as many of the fairways were non-existent on the edges (quite the challenge, if you’re into that). Seems the only watering of the course is by Mother Nature. I’ve Played many courses for less $ that were infinitely better.
Course in very bad condition
Generally never leave reviews with this course is the exception. The conditions of the course were very bad. Realistically a 1.5 star not a 3.
first time playing here
Greens were in much better shape than expecting. Fairways and cart paths are a little beat up...but for the value of the course fees not much to complain about. Staff was friendly and carts were comfy and smooth riding. For a few holes, it was hard to tell where the pin was from the tee box...so when in doubt just played a safe 1st shot with a higher club to fairway center to avoid driving it into the woods. Shot 89 on 18, which for first time at this course I'm very happy with. Will play here again.
