Pickens Golf Club

This course is only 9 holes, but you play 18 by using differingsr/s of tees. The layout has varying elevations, challenging bunkering and doglegs. The new clubhouse and restaurant are very nice,

The course is nine holes. However they do a good just adjusting tee locations allowing it to play as an 18 hole course. The conditions were good and the facilities were super.

9 Hole course that you play twice from different tee boxes. Small greens, and because of weather dryed out and extremely fast. Great design and challenging. Great price. Only problem was the heat was near 100 . Clubhouse was new, and good food.

So it's a 9-hole-play-it-twice affair. You go from different tees and it feels like 18... Kind of. Great staff. Amenities, Food and drink. New carts. A pool! Coming soon a par 3 course and uorlgrades driving range. A great play to bring the family and play. Challenging enough for just about anyone.

I play this course atleast once a month some time more, and I love this place. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the hybrid layout is really neat since it’s a 9 hole course. Even though it’s pretty much wide open it still offers some challenging holes. The new club house is really nice and the food at the restaurant has always been delicious. The drink prices are amazing, so we love to sit around after our round and fellowship with the locals.

Facility was very nice and looked newly renovated or built. The staff was extremely friendly. The course was fun to play and had interesting layout on some holes. It was a hybrid 9 hole course wo if you do 18, you change the t box location is what we were told. We only played 9. My only complaint would be how fast the greens were. On one hole, I chipped onto the green for what looked like a great shot. The ball slowly rolled forward towards the pin, only to curve right, then to the fringe and all the way back down to my feet. Exactly where I chipped from. Other holes the ball just would not grab. Very frustrating. Other than the greens, it was a fun course.

Got a little slow when we came around to play the second 9

but everything else was great.

It’s just my opinion but as nice as the new clubhouse is, the course has gone downhill. Sand for grass on tee boxes, lumpy greens that don’t track smooth and the fairways with grass clipping moguls. The staff was very nice though!

Par 3 course for beginners. No grass and under construction. Good club house.

My normal group was not playing today at another course. So it had been a couple years since I played there. Was fortunate enough to pair up with some younger ex-servicemen who were calling me Pops by the end of the

round. Enjoyed their company. They have a new clubhouse and are working on a new par 3 course. I wonder if it will be 3 holes with 3 different tees?! You play the same 9 holes from different tees on their course.

Greens were in good condition. Fairways average but little grass growing yet. If it wasn't for my partners help i could have been lost to what tee i used as a senior. Pretty expensive for a couple beers. I'd consider it a fall back course. No tee time or other arrangements and want to play a round. All and all worth playing at times.
