Front/Back at Rolling Green Golf Club

Well I got to the course and the parking lot is almost full that told me it was going to be a bad round and I Was right.They just set off 32 guys in a large group just before I got there plus others that were coming in and that book tee times. The owner was very nice man and the course was not in bad shape. I received the bucket of balls that had a bunch of split balls in the basket . The pace of play was terrible you had to wait at each hole for upwards to five to 10 minutes at a times only played nine holes and I quit because it already at three hours .

Bill, Ken, and I met at Rolling Greens to play today. They are replacing their bent grass greens with zoysia and have finished the first two nines. The new greens were a little slow, but they were beautiful. We played the final nine with a mixture of bent grass and zoysia and had a little trouble finding the pace of putts. All in all, I think the change will improve the course. I love the last three holes on the third nine. They really challenge you to "grip it and rip it". Rolling Greens has the best hotdogs around.

First time playing here. The fairways were pretty wide open. I played 9 and started on hole 10. The 16th or 17th hole tee box was pretty much bare ground. The guy checking people in was super nice and other than the threesome behind us the course was empty on a Saturday evening. I’d prob play here again for the price. Nothing special though.

My first time playing this course. I expected the condition to be better than what it was for this time of the year. The greens were in relatively decent shape, but could have been better. Holes 1 & 8 were closed due to the greens being under repair. I would not have booked the course had I known this in advanced. The tee boxes were horrendous, particularly on the par 3s. I was hitting off of dirt or dead grass on every box. I certainly would not recommend this course at this time.

We enjoyed our round- beautiful rolling hills and challenging greens. Of course being March the fairways were dormant, but that didn't take away from our enjoyment.

I was really disappointed in this course. TOO HIGH on the price for the clay traps (sand traps). The greens were good, fairways really rough.

The greens were the one thing that stood out about this course. The rest was in poor shape. Yard markers were hard to see unless you were on top of them. It was blind golf since the card and tee signs all lacked hole layout/picture for guidance. Quite confusing to say the least

The grounds crew did a great job of getting leaves off the fairways, but the fairways weren’t great at this time of year. However the greens were beautiful, especially 10-18 which soon the rest of the greens will upgraded. The elevation changes and course layout was beautiful and forced you to use all your clubs. Some traps had better amount of sand than others. The bad ones were very thin.

The staff was very friendly.

Nice course for the money. I love the front nine the best. The Senior/Red tees are short and user friendly for those who can't hit it as far anymore. Greens are kept in great shape. Staff is always friendly. I would like to see some clearing of wooded area between holes 2 and 3 and 3 and 4. Maybe cut down all the trees and sow grass. That would be nice. I doubt that will ever be done but it would make these holes more playable and not so narrow for the average golfer.

If only there were sand in the bunkers and water in the coolers it'd be perfect for me.

I've played this course for 20yrs and really enjoy it. Only 2 problems I have with it is there's never more than a half inch of sand in the bunkers and even in the sweltering heat, no water on the course to drink!!! Other than that it's a nice course for the money!

This course was an $8 hot deal and I feel like I paid too much. It's very poorly maintained, the greens range from fair to awful, and the bunkers have no sand in them. The course is so bad that I can't take it seriously enough play and I left after 10 holes.

Fairways are pretty good but not perfect. Greens were near perfect and putted very true. Most of the greens are diamond zoyzia and I love diamond zoizia. No other grass is as smooth or putts as true. All in all, for a moderately priced golf course it is really good. Only advice I have is to play 1thru 9 and 19 thru 27. The middle 9 is not my favorite and sometimes balls will come at you from different directions.
