Older but good course

The course played good fairways are wide and well kept the greens are even better. The tee boxes are unkept Overall I would recommend Rolling Greens for a nice causal game We didn’t partake in any of the course amenities

Call to book your tee time. Don’t book through website or GolfNow!

If you call and book tee time, you show up and pay the very reasonable greens/cart fees. What you see when you book online through their website which links to golfnow is the “booking fee”. Then when you get to the course, you pay the same exact $40 per person for the round. It’s not the course’s fault (except for allowing tee times to be booked online). I ended up spending $160 to play one round here with my son. Would have been $80 if I called and booked the tee time. GolfNow doesn’t tell you that there is no easily visible verbiage of this excessive fee. It’s in the last line of the confirmation email you receive, AFTER YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID. Basically, GolfNow cost me $80 for a single round with my son. GOLFNOW SCAM aside, we enjoyed the course. We like the off the beaten path, rough around the edges, family owned courses. Topography is great here. Greens were fun.

The greens were just aerated and it would be nice if the snack shop accepted cards. Other than that it was a good value for the price.

Drought Conditions

Beautiful course with zero grass on the fairways, just hard dirt and tree roots. With no grass to hold the ball, expect it to run off into the woods or down into the creek. Wear hiking boots.

Helmet Golf

Helmet golf is when you may need a helmet because the tee boxes are so close to the greens on a golf course. A ranger that upheld the pace of play would make this course much more enjoyable especially with it being one of the few 27 hold clubs left in the area.

Ed`s review

Everyone I met, staff and players were very friendly

Fairways are dormant, and lots of bare spots

Greens were about average for the area; most all courses are zoysia now in the Upstate of SC

Good course for the money. Not the fanciest but the staff and the scenery are great. Some great holes that test you but a fair course. I would play this once a week if my wife allowed it..

Don't go

Horrible course. Packed and the fairways are covered in red mud a tree roots! Greens have ditches in them.

Enjoyable Course

I enjoyed the layout. Lots of hills and challenging shots. Not fancy but was well worth the cost. Friendly staff, you can tell they really care about the course and the people that play it. If you like paying big $$$ for a round then this isn’t the place for you but if you want to just enjoy golf without busting the budget this is the place for you. I saw complaints in other reviews so I was expecting some flaws but after playing Rolling Greens I can say for sure I will be back. Thank you very much for keeping a good golf course affordable for the folks who just enjoying playing.

Thursday Afternoon 9

First time out. Really enjoyed the laid back no pressure pace on an afternoon 9. Enjoyed the challenge of the uphills throughout the course. Easy to navigate with no map with nice signage to up get lost. Decent old school pro shop with an easy friendly check in and great carts. But definitely recommend and will be playing again soon !

Rolling green

Golf course is in good shape. Greens and fairways are good. A few tee boxes need some work. Overall good day with son and weather was perfect.
