Friend was a member here 20 years ago. First time here in awhile
Several tee boxes need some work ( I know it’s December ). Course is really short. . Accurate shots are required off the tee. Keep the ball below the hole for sure. Almost a shot penalty to be off green above the hole. No ranger and course can get backed up easily. Great course to work on short game and long irons off tee. I have seen greens in much better shape. Overall just a game management type course. First time back for me in around 20 years. Could use some money invested for upgrades but probably a whole bunch better in summer.
First time play
Enjoyed my first time. Played alone #19-27 the 1-9. Good value for the money.
Better Off Playing Elsewhere
This is a decent 27 hole course if you're just starting out and need to work on your game. It's cheaper than some of the other courses in the area and you don't need a tee time to play. That being said, there are greater courses in the area that you should play and in way better condition. The front nine is in the best shape of the bunch which really stinks as I enjoy the layout of the other 18 a lot more. The clubhouse has next to no amenities and the grill is closed most of the time. Lastly, the guy who is over the place is the rudest person I've ever met working at a golf course. He has next to no personality and acts like he hates being there. At least act as if you enjoy your job and working with people if you're going to be in a customer facing position. I may go here again if I just want to get in 9 holes without a tee time, but my days of playing 18 here are over!
Awful
This might be the worse course I ever been to. First, I do want to say the guy in the pro shop was friendly. The course is in terrible condition. A lot of wholes I would even consider them fairways, its more dirt. A lot of greens are torn up. On top of that people are running around to random holes golfing. People in jeans, one guy was in a full camo outfit. Its just a crazy show going on at Rolling Greens and I wont be back.
Great Value
A no nonsense course in good shape. No beer in the clubhouse but you can bring your own cooler.
Get what you pay for
My wife and I played 18 holes in a little over 4 hours on a Friday afternoon. Riding carts need brakes.
Not worth it
For $35 this course is not worth it, and would maybe not even be worth $20.
The front nine is okay but the back nine is extremely thin grass, rocks, and hard dirt. You hit the ball and it just keeps rolling.
Cart pads are also pretty bad.
Really don't want to come here to ding up my clubs.
Not worth it
If this course was $20 for 18 holes it might be worth it. But charging $35 when the course conditions are really poor is a bad deal.
The front 9 was okay but after that the back 9 is extremely hilly with thin grass, dirt, and rocks. The ball just rolls everywhere.
Cart paths are also really bad condition.
Not worth dinging my clubs up.
