Mid Carolina Club

This course had made great strides the last couple of years and is in great shape. Their practice facilities are impressive. I would say 4.5 stars for condition and 4.5 overall.

The staff is great at Mid Carolina. Unlimited range balls are included with the green fees. I play here once a week and have never had more than a 4 hour round on a Saturday morning. Greens are in great shape. The fairways are in decent shape but suffered from the excessive spring rains this year. They were in better conditions last year.

Lots of weed and hard pan bare areas both on and off the fwys. Greens are spongey, full of grain, and different speeds with the greens being two different verities of Bermuda. It's almost impossible to get a tee into the ground on most tee boxes and a few tee boxes have very little grass on them.

This course is very well maintained and you can tell from the minute you step onto the grounds. The fairways are in wonderful shape and the greens are some of the best I've seen in the area! If the price was a little lower I would play this course more often! Be sure to add this course to your list.
