Left shaking my head
Being fairly new to golf i try to give each new course leeway and not make too harsh criticism. But this course just left me feeling like what did I just play. The staff was pleasant for my short encounter. The course, taking into account the time of year, was just not good. I've played multiple courses in the area and this ran straight to the bottom for my experience. The greens were very small and often adjacent tee boxes were very close proximity to the green you would play towards. Be prepared to hear "FORE!" often lol. Conditions also made the shots run quickly off the fairways because of the hills making up the course. I paid for 18 holes but only played 10 after waiting for a 4some to move to the next tee box from just behind the green we were playing to. They stood behind it practicing their swings for 10 minutes. At that point I decided the course wasn't worth waiting 8 more holes behind a group like that. The layout was confusing also. The gentleman at the desk was nice and provided some instructions about the course layout, but honestly, if not for my SwingU app, I would have done a lot of guessing were to go next. As other reviews have said, there are no signs and very few cart paths. It is one of the few courses fairly close to me but I doubt I'll return.
You get what you pay for. No cart path. Greens are not awful
First time at course
Staff was super friendly. The course needs some maintenance.
Confusing but good
The course is well kept. Greens were very nice. Layout of the holes can be confusing at a few of them. Not much signage and score cards don’t give a layout of the course. Enjoyed it even with the lack of golf cart paths and signage.
Reserved on Golf Now, however closed on Monday!
Why would a golf course offer reservations through Golf Now for days they are closed??
I made a reservation and drove all the way to course to play, and yet they are closed on Monday's. Please take your listing off golf now if you are closed!
Great Small Town Course. Very challenging layout. The conditions are constantly improving and the value is unbeatable
CHEAP PRICE AND STILL WAS TOO HIGH
Decided to play this course since I was in town for Father's Day. Only course around that had available tee times and I saw why pretty quickly. When you drive to the clubhouse, you're literally driving where hole 9 is aiming at. To the left of you is a huge ravine and the tee box, and to the right of you is the green. Not sure if they thought that out pretty well. i can say there were a few holes i liked overall, greens were super fast, but the course itself could've been in better condition. Also, the putting green was in between holes 4 and 5, and with hole 5 having a blind shot over a huge hill to the green, its pretty dangerous to be chipping/ putting and random balls are flying your way. I'm okay not playing here again.
Nice course
Nice course for quick play. Convenient location right off of HWY 25. I will return.
