Not Worth it
The old saying you get what you pay for couldn't ring truer than this course. It is a 9 hole course you can go around twice to get 18 in....here are just a few things to note:
Tee boxes are just areas of land that they put down tee markers - nothing is actually cut that would lead you to believe there are tee boxes.
Greens are slow - many weeds growing in the middle of the greens - some had very badly burnt out patches.
The fairways are very bumpy - good luck trying to find a nice area to hit from even in the fairway.
Car paths don't exist and getting from the tee box to the greens can be an adventure - may want to bring seat belts you can get bounced out of the cart.
No clear signage as to where holes are, they give you a map before you tee off.
Hole 9 hits over the entrance road to the course - not all cars stop on their way in.
Most sand bunkers that existed at one time are now just dirt and grass - there are a few bunkers that still have sand in them.
In the end there are not a lot of choices in this area outside of a few CC's - you really have to want to hit the ball around to somehow enjoy this course.
If you are somewhat of an avid golfer pass this one by - my guess is they stopped paying attention to it around seven years ago, at one time it may have been a very challenging course - now it's not worth the $26 for 18 holes I paid this weekend.
Pace of play
There was foursome that would, not let anyone play through and they had my group and two others groups waiting to to tee off on the same whole
Left shaking my head
Being fairly new to golf i try to give each new course leeway and not make too harsh criticism. But this course just left me feeling like what did I just play. The staff was pleasant for my short encounter. The course, taking into account the time of year, was just not good. I've played multiple courses in the area and this ran straight to the bottom for my experience. The greens were very small and often adjacent tee boxes were very close proximity to the green you would play towards. Be prepared to hear "FORE!" often lol. Conditions also made the shots run quickly off the fairways because of the hills making up the course. I paid for 18 holes but only played 10 after waiting for a 4some to move to the next tee box from just behind the green we were playing to. They stood behind it practicing their swings for 10 minutes. At that point I decided the course wasn't worth waiting 8 more holes behind a group like that. The layout was confusing also. The gentleman at the desk was nice and provided some instructions about the course layout, but honestly, if not for my SwingU app, I would have done a lot of guessing were to go next. As other reviews have said, there are no signs and very few cart paths. It is one of the few courses fairly close to me but I doubt I'll return.
You get what you pay for. No cart path. Greens are not awful
First time at course
Staff was super friendly. The course needs some maintenance.
Confusing but good
The course is well kept. Greens were very nice. Layout of the holes can be confusing at a few of them. Not much signage and score cards don’t give a layout of the course. Enjoyed it even with the lack of golf cart paths and signage.
