Good Lake Keowee Course
This course isn't near much but if you are in the Seneca area it is worth a trip to check out. Good value for the greens fee charged.
Looking Up
My title reflects the fact that nearly every hole plays to an uphill fairway or green. This course has a lot of blind shots, so it's not easy for a first timer. I found the greens to be very slow as well. This is a one and done for me.
Great course
Great course for the money. Has a lot of doglegs so make sure you know how long you hit each club. Greens are in good condition for the hot weather we have been having. Would recommend this course to anyone passing thru or staying for a weekend like my wife and I were done.
GREAT COURSE
My wife and I played the course for the first time. The price was very fair for a course of this caliper. 'The fairways and greens were in excellent shape, The only drawback we could find was there weren't enough yardage markers located on the fairways , so not having a gps or range marker made judging didtance to the hazards and holes difficult. we would definatley play this course again.
Worth the drive..
Only 4 miles off I 85 exit 1..Greens excellent condition and very difficult. Course very narrow and hilly. must work the ball left and right to score. Straight balls will be in the woods. Short but placement is a must. A real gem.
Fun course
Course in great shape. Fun course if you don't mind blind tee shots, elevated greens, and dogleg holes. Oh yeah, sloping fairways, too. Played it 7strokes better the second time around because I held my mouth just right and knew where to hit it.
Great Value, good layout
No complaints, course was in good shape, greens weren't overly fast and rolled true. Challenging layout.
Good for the money
Course is kept up. The greens and tee boxes could use some work. Good for the money. Great layout.
Quite tough.
This was the first time I played this course and it won't be the last. Several doglegs and blind holes made this a good challenge. Bring a GPS to help with the hazards. This was a lot of fun. It is located in a little community with friendly people and friendly courteous staff. Great place to get an opportunity to use just about every club in the bag. Located just a short run up I-85 and on Highway 11.
Interesting and Challenging Course
Played this course for the first time on a beautiful Fall day. The course is very hilly and has many doglegs and blind shots. Tough on those playing their first rounds as it was hard to determine where to hit shots you could not see. Would recommend playing with a member, or playing 2-3 rounds to get the lay of the land. Course in good shape and the staff very friendly.
Best Course in the upstate
This is by far the best and most Beautiful course I have played on. It's a tough corse with challenging holes and greens. But it well worth the money and it's fun to play.
Roller Coaster of Fun
Wonderfully hilly course that turns both left and right. Many blind tee shots from the back tees, but not a long course. It's just a fun round of golf on a well conditioned course. All of the course staff were very friendly, and added to the experience. Great value for the price.
The course is a real challenge for a south Florida golfer. Would play there again.
I found the tees fairways and greens to be in very good condition. Putting or chipping downhill was no fun but the "cheat sheet" provided made it clear to be below the hole. I would play there again tomorrow if I was in the area.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful course in wonderful condition. It has beautiful sites of the mountains The grass was fluffy and in great condition. Highly recommend
Great course
Great course. Great condition. Fluffy grass. Great practice facilities. The only issue I found was a massive amount of flies in the sand traps one the front 9
great value!!
I will enjoy even more the next time.....lots of blind shots....need course knowledge
For a challenge
I love this course. It is very challenging , winter conditions. Played 27 holes and loved it. This is a course that you have to play smart, you need to play it twice so to know where to hit ball. If you are a 90's shooter you may not like it. Try it.
Good value, nice people
Chickasaw Point Golf Course is a quirky course with lots of hills and valley, blind shots and challenging holes. Tough course to walk, too bad and some incredible elevations, Greens were relatively fast. fairways nice and tees OK. Worth the visit. Pro shop and restaurant have very nice staff.
Somewhat short but challenging!
I enjoyed this course! Great use of the terrain. I would play it again!
