Cateechee

Love playing Cateechee! It’s a fun layout in very good condition with great facilities! One of our favorites to play because it’s got all the natural elements with no houses and traffic noise.

Reservation made for Saturday through GolfNow, but somehow changed to two days earlier. Found out the day before I was supposed to play when I received a request for review on the round they booked the day before that obviously didn’t play…

Played on a windy day in March

Plenty of high school kids preparing for tournament.. Greens were disappointing with large patches of winter grass popping up and making it hard to get a decent roll..

It has some good holes but also so average one like 3 .. 4. .. 5 and 9 .. The 10th is just really too hard most of the time...

Back nine is better

Beautiful course. Play was 90° for front 9 and cart path only for the back 9 due to over seeding for winter. Tough course with no course knowledge but got help from gentlemen I played with. Look forward to playing it again.

This is an amazing course extremely beautiful great condition very challenging course . staff was very friendly the food smelt phenomenal the next time play there I am going to try the restaurant

Played from the Whites as an 11 handicap player and some of the holes were so insanely hard I was shocked. If you can't consistently drive the ball in the 275 range, this course will eat your lunch. So many blind tee shots I needed a caddy. Course is well maintained but only gave it avg score because greens were punched from recent sanding and were very slow and inconsistent. From what I could tell, senior and ladies tees were reasonable but if you don't have a long consistent driver, you're at the wrong course. Between the blind tee shots and so many holes fraught with trouble, I shot 12 strokes ABOVE my normal handicap!
