Nice course
Second time I played this course. Nice layout with two distinct different feelings for each nine. For this time of year, greens were in great shape and dormant fairways were still in good condition. Highly recommend as a must play course.
Rough spots
Great layout, decent greens but tough course to play ball down with some rough areas that need attention. Will try again in season to see if conditions are improved.
Great Course and Staff
I have played Greystone several times. The staff is professional and very helpful. The course is always in great shape except for the bunkers. There is not enough sand in the bunkers and at times you need to take a drop due to the fabric being exposed.

This course made me feel like I was out of Dickson county. Very beautiful!
SLOW PLAY
I have played the course and love it. Pace of play has gotten way too slow. You need good marshals. Not a guy that just rides around waving at everybody. I would also suggest going to championship bermuda green. When the bent is bad it's really bad. Our group didn't play there as much as we would have because of green conditions.

Below average condition for this time of year and staff lacking.
Only one person in clubhouse. Pace of play for 2:45 for nine holes. Skipped front (which they should call the back bc they never put play off front for some reason)

Beautiful golf course in the middle of nowhere.
Beautifully maintained Greystone is a wonderful golf course. It has a very nice design and TONS of natural beauty. It is hilly and wide open. It plays fair, apparently from all the boxes, as our threesome played 3 teeing grounds. Greens were absolutely consistent. Fairways were nice. Not necessarily plush. But certainly playable. Teeing greens to fairways to putting greens were in excellent condition as far as being out in the countryside in a southern state where other courses are dried out this time of year. The rough wasn't terrible, unless you were in the tall grass. Knowing where to aim off the tees is super important here . There was no starter on this weekday, but the course is very well fun. I did see a ranger.
Everything was great except the bunkers. They needed some real work.
Beautiful Course!
This is a great course, one of the best public options in the Nashville area. A couple others may be better but you pay a lot more to play on them!
