Course is a very good layout.
Course is in overall very good shape, greens, tees, traps, fairwarys all good. Also, course is a very good layout with each hole being unique.
I thorough enjoyed the course
I think the course was in very good condition. Just a few fairways were just a little thin.
Course is in great shape and has character
My son and I found a 'hot deal' and decided to drive the hour from Franklin, TN to Dickson, TN to check out this course. Our 1:47 p.m. Sunday afternoon tee time turned out to be perfect as we got to play as a twosome and did not meet the guys in front of us until Hole 8. The weather was perfect and the tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent shape. For $25/round via the 'hot deal' on GolfNow, we felt like we got a great deal!
it has all the challenges
Hills, water, high grassy rough and bunkers normally have a negative effect on my game, as my ball seeks to find those hard to hit from places. In this case, they add such beauty to this course, one can't help my admire the obstacles, even though they do effect the score. Well laid out and a treat for the eyes, this is a course worth driving to visit.
Worth the drive.
This course is beautiful and fun to play. Variety of holes in a very pretty setting. The people were extraordinarily nice and the course was in good shape. Would drive out here from Nashville every day if I could. One of the few course I'd be willing to pay full price for.
Nice course
Course was in good shape and pace of play was pretty good for a weekend day.
Great course
Great course however the course allowed two high school foursomes to walk at 1:30 pm on Saturday afternoon making the pace of play slow to the point that the round took 5 1/2 hours to complete ruining the day.
Great place
Greystone is a hidden secret. It is worth the 40 mile drive from Nashville to play this course. It has a great combination of condition, playability, and cost.
very well maintained, great fairways
the layout of this course is fantastic. very undulating fairways and well maintained. greens putt true - not too fast. very good mix of holes, some long and some short.
Great course, even better when you consider the cost.
Wonderful challenging layout with lots of traps, uneven lies and distance to add to a great golfing experience.
A good round!
Keeps you on your toes, you have to look at every landing area for your next shot, bit of a hike with the hills but makes for a nice round of golf. They could use a map layout on scorecard, will take a few rounds to know where water, rock, and elevation changes are...enjoyed it and will play it again.
Amazing!!!
The course was in perfect condition and the staff was great!! I am looking forward to playing this course again real soon!
Challenging design, impeccable tees and fairways; many of the greens, however, had poorly repaired or unrepaired ball marks.
Great value and scenery. Challenging layout, mix of ascending and descending fairways. Greens surprisingly level, fair. Great pace of play. Actual rating should be a "4" because of the inattention to ball marks on putting surface, but the fault lies mostly with golfers; clubhouse should emphasize importance of repairing ball marks.
Overall, fantastic course. Will play again.
Great Course!
Best course I have played this year. For the hot deal rate of 17$ for 18 holes it is unbelievable! I drove 1 hr to this course and would do it every day if I could.
Beauty & Challenge
This is a great course, it's a bit of a drive from the city but worth it. Always in stellar condition, great setting out in nature, a good challenge and rewarding experience. Play it!
Awesome cheap and a challenge.
First time here course was in nice shape less than $20 for 18 with a cart and a small bucket of balls. Pace was good weather was Hot..
Best I played while in nashville
Tight fairways, rolling hills and blind shots had me guessing on every shot. While on a 10 golf vacation a friend told us about the course. A little bit of a drive but well worth it. I would highly recommend it to players of all levels. The staff was great, and the pace of play was excellent. Next time in Nashville I will definatly be playing Greystone.
This course was scenic, fun, and creative!
Upon arrival the gentleman in the clubhouse was very welcoming. He gave us some pointers about the course since it was our first time playing there. Each hole had variety which kept the day fun. Make sure to hit it in the fairway because the secondary rough is very thick. Great course! Will definitely return. Give yourself 45 minutes from Nashville for travel.
